I have booked Chef Mickey's for dinner but am a bit hesitant because I have heard several bad reviews for it.

If you have been to both Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for dinner, which one did you prefer? I'd love to hear about any positive/negative experiences at either one, as well.

We have Boma and Biergarten dinner booked. Just wondering if any of the other buffets are good.

Thanks in advance!

We are doing CM this time(leave in 16 days:)), and like you I am worried about the negative dinner reviews! I know the characters will be great but can't get myself excited for the food. Maybe someone who's been will come along and encourage us. Maybe?

I've done both... I found the layout of CP to be a bit more appealing, and you dont have a chance of ending up in one of the tight quarted side rooms. They offer similar food, and both have soft serve ice cream. Chef Mickey's food however when we went wasn't hot most of the time and left alot to be desired. For breakfast however it was great!

I prefer CP... there are alot of buffets to get the mickey characters that are better such as Tusker House and Cape May Cafe. The pooh characters are more rare. THe food was better at CP especially the desserts they were spectacular. The pizza and chicken strips were very good, and there were alot of choices just like CM.

As far as service our CP waiter was on top of clearing plates and had new drinks down just as we finished he was great at anticpating. At CM we got one refill and had to flag our waitress down needless to say her tip was not 20% like our server at CM.

Both are great experiences to live once however go with your gut and what you feel is best!

I didnt take alot of pictures at CP aside from character photos but here is one of my plates.. im a mega picky eater and loved everything on the plate. Which includes Corn meal stuffing, green beans, mac and cheese, chicken strips, mashed potatoes, cheese pizza, and a white dinner roll with butter.

We did CM for breakfast, and it was just OK. I've heard the opposite though, most people really love it there for dinner.

However, our favorite is Crystal Palace. The food and variety are great, not to mention the character interaction.

The only dinner buffets we like are Cape May and Beirgarten....Chef Mickeys dinner was terrible and CP food has been going downhill the last 2 times we ate there
