Which Dining Reservation Would You Keep?

DH and I are going to Disney in November. I am confused on one night.

Right now I have both Tutto Italia/Chefs de France booked for one night. We have eaten at neither one of them. It does not appear that we will be doing the dining plan. We have no expiration park passes and the cost to add the dining plan and pay for the passes we need not cost effective. The dinner is the day between Nine Dragons and Teppan Edo.

Chefs de France has the 3 course prix fix menu that sounds great for $37. It also has a better reservation time. Tutto Italia does not a prix fix menu and we are doing another Italian Meal during the trip. So confused? :confused3

Our other dinners are:

- Tonys Town Square
- Captain's Grill (we are staying at Yacht Club and will be off property that day)
- Nine Dragons
- Teppan Edo

Help.

Thanks in advance.

Personally of your list I would remove Teppan Edo, but I don't like that type of dining. Just a preference for me.

i would keep chefs de france its a really nice resturant and the food is good. went to Tutto Italia in 2007 it wasnt one of my favorites.

have been to both Chefs & Tutto and liked both. However, if you're paying out of pocket, and it appeals to yoe, that fixed-price menu at Chefs is a much better deal, cost-wise. Tutto is fairly pricey (well, all the Disney restaurants are, but for basically a pasta restaurant we thought the prices at Tutto were exceptionally high...on the dining plan a good value but for cash, not so much.) When we were at Tutto in January, 2010, there was no fixed price option -- all the appetizers were ala carte.

And if you're going Italian on another night (Tony's) I'd definitely skip Tutto. Might as well "shake up" your tastebuds with different cuisine.

Thanks for your input. I think I will cancel Tutto.

Nadjalu we love hibachi food and enjoyed it when we went last year so that one is not changing.

Captions grill is the best seafood on the ddp. Fultons is the best seafood in the resort. Tonys is very good as well.

Keep Chefs de France ... We have dined at both and found Tutto underwhelming and left with the feeling that we had just paid a ridiculous amount of money for a bowl of pasta!

Keep Chefs:thumbsup2
We did both last year on free DDP and agreed we would pay OOP for Chefs. We felt rushed at TI (my lasanga was on my plate less then 10 minutes after ordering:eek:) Thought it was far too pricey even by Disney World standards.
