Hi,

We are traveling to disney world on December 17-21; there will be 2 adults and 2 children (1 and 3). Which dining plan do you recommend? We already have reservations at Chef Mickey and Hoop Dee Doo revue. This is our first trip and I would appreciate any tips/info, thanks!!!!:)

If those are the only two reservations you have, I'd say you don't need a dining plan. If you're going to make more dining plans, then maybe. Your 1 yr old won't get one, but your 3 yr old will and that's where you'll see some savings.

By the way, that week will begin to get busy toward the end, so if you want to eat at TS places, you need to make some reservations. Walk-ups will mean a very long wait if you can get in at all.

It really depends on your family's eating habits.
1. How many TS meals do you plan to eat?
2. Do you typically order an entree and dessert for each person in your party?
3. Do you typically have sit down breakfasts, lunches, or dinners?
4. Do you plan to do character meals and/or buffets?

As the PP said, if you plan to do a fair number of TS meals, you should probably start making your ADRs as soon as possible. Things book up and it could leave you scrambling.

Overall, if you go with the DDP you have use your TS credits and order fairly expensive entrees and desserts. It's getting harder and harder to make the DDP economically efficient, but if you typically order the most expensive items on the menu, it might work out for you!
