Which princess character meal did you like best and what princesses did you get to see?

DD favorite Princess is Aurora - so hands down Askerhaus (breakfast only - we're not adventurous in dining) We saw Belle, Mulan, Snow White, Jasmine.
(2 different years, same Princesses)

Did CRT - Alice, Belle (blue dress) Wendy, (PJ's) Snow White... and Cinderella (never saw Aurora here, ruined my plans, had to stand in line at the Fair)

1900 Park Fare - Prince Charming, Cinderella, and the 2 mice
(nice dinner Buffet, looking forward to meeting the step family!)

CRT! DGD5 was enthralled to meet Cinderella herself in the lobby. She was speechless; and if you knew this child, you'd know that's really saying something! :rotfl2:

Upstairs at lunch she met Mary Poppins, Belle, Jasmine, and Snow White (or was it Sleeping Beauty? I can never get them straight).

The food was pretty good, too.

Akershus - we did an 8:30 am breakfast, first ones in the park and first ones seated. Food was great, CMs were great, Belle in her yellow gown in the lobby, Ariel, Aurora and Mulan came around to the tables.

Thank you all so much for your stories. I know I still have a ways to go, but it will be my DD and also my first Princess meal. I can't wait!!

We had Dinner at Akershus. Belle was there to greet us and get pictures while we waited to be seated. We saw Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine and ARIEL..........which made it all worthwhile!

We had dinner at the castle, and had the photo package with Cinderella. Even my 9 year old son (at the time) was a bit bashful around Cinderella. :lovestruc

Because it was dinner, we only got to see Cinderella and then the Fairy Godmother did her little show while we were eating. :wizard:

Last year we did 1900 Park Faire for dinner. The food was great and Cinderella & Prince Charming visited and talked with our family. The Fairy Godmother was fun and the three mice too. The food was delicious too! This year we are going to have breakfast at the Royal Table since I have heard that nothing compares to eating IN the castle!:wizard:

We've only done Akershus so far - breakfast, we loved it! We saw Belle in the lobby in her yellow gown, and Mulan, Snow White, Aurora and Ariel came to the tables. A great princess experience!

It would be between lunch at CRT and breakfast at Akershus for me. I think Akershus has the better selection of "real" princesses, while CRT throws people like Mary Poppins, Wendy, and Alice, into their rotation.

CRT-

Why? Because it was in the castle :) a very magical event IMO

Who did we see? Belle (blue dress), Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty

We have done all 3 for the past few trips (except last year we missed 1900 b/c it was closed). This year I told my 3 Princess' to choose 1 for us to do and all 3 picked CRT. They couldn't miss the castle!

I've only done Akershus but i LOVED it. Being a grown up Princess I was worried I'd feel silly but far from it. All the Princesses were great and made us feel so comfortable and welcome.

We went to dinner there and met Belle first (Greeting in yellow dress), then ariel, aurora, Cinderella, Jasmine and Snow White. Was soooooo good! :goodvibes

We finally did CRT for breakfast for the first time (it was my 18th trip to WDW and I'd never gone! :confused3 ) It was by far MY favorite and I believe my girls' as well.... we saw Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Snow White, and the Fairy Godmother. Going to do it again in August :thumbsup2

The year prior we did 1900 Park Fare and we did enjoy the character interaction w/ Cindy, the Prince, Suzy, Perla, and the Fairy Godmother. The food was "ok"... the strawberry soup everyone raves about here was downright nasty-kinda like a smoothie in a bowl :rotfl:

We also did Akershus that year for dinner. NEVER AGAIN. It was so cramped (at least the table they managed to smoosh us into) and the food was nasty. I'm just not one for Norweigan delicacies I guess :confused3 :confused3 The princesses kept missing our table because of the bad spot it was in, so I had to keep going to track them down once they did the room and prepared to leave before seeing our girls... it was a pain in the butt. When we'd gone for breakfast in 12/04, it wasn't that bad because how can you mess up breakfast food... but dinner 10/06... BLECH!:scared1:

CRT hands-down for us! :thumbsup2

CRT breakfast, because the best place to meet royalty should be a castle! It is really a beautiful setting, but not as relaxing as the other princess locations.

My favorite would have to be Akershus for breakfast. We had Belle to greet us in her yellow gown, Jasmine, Mulan, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

1900 Park Fare is definately a very close 2nd. The step sisters are so much fun!!

we're partial to cinderella at the castle - have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there - it's just the most "magicial" place for us

My review from the Review page:

EPCOT Norway Storybook Princess lunch

Very early lunch ADR at 11:20 am- May I suggest the same for you. No lines to get in-Breakfast ending. The only thing is you sit in the side room since they are ending Breakfast in the main room but it was truly fine that way.

The girls changed into their outfits and we were off! First we went to have pics done with Belle in a fabulous golden yellow gown. The pics were not included during our time but I understand they will be soon. We bought them since they came out so pretty. Belle was super sweet-again no rush from her but the photographer was (again) a little abrupt.

We had a nice waitress who told us we had some time to enjoy the appetizer buffet before the other princesses came around.

Now I really, really enjoyed this appetizer buffet! There are things that anybody would like -cheeses (very mild), salami, all salad and all dressings, cucumber salad, mickey pasta salad, chicken salad. But then they had the most delicious lox and cream cheese along with herring in wine sauce and smoked herring. I adored it. It is food you have to like and it is different but it drives me crazy when people call it "weird" both on the boards and in the restaurant.

I had the lamb stew which dissapointed me greatly. It was teeny tiny bits of lamb with teeny tiny bits of cabbage! Hardly any taste whatsoever. I sent it back and happily had the appetizers.

The other adults had the special Norwegian meatloaf (begins with a "k") and it was very delicious. The other adult had the salmon open face sandwich and seafood chowder. It was really wonderful! If you like salmon get that dish!

The kids had the chicken -again no big whoop-they enjoyed the cheese and salami appetizers very much.

The princesses started coming around and Ariel was there!!! We were so happy and she looked adorable. We also saw Aurora Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine and....the big cheese herself Cinderella! Yep-she showed up for lunch. They were gracious, not rushed and had fun with the girls (Cindy stating she'd like to visit their house but GA sounded like a very long pumpkin ride!).

The desserts came out family style. This is where I can give you all a hint. During the middle of our eating our lunch the waitress plopped down the dessert plates with forks (not the actual dessert but getting ready for it). We asked her assistant to please tell her not bring the dessert tray out until we had finished lunch.

This worked out very well for us. The desserts were ok I didn't care for the rice cream but the kids did. We had an espresso cheese cake and a "princess" cake-Got me on the princess cake but I liked it a lot. It was very light and creamy.
