Okay, so we are trying to decide on which resort we should stay in.
It will be Me, Boyfriend, Six year old daughter and my mother who has always gone along with daughter and I and will be our super helpful babysitter! (Isn't she sooo nice)

Anyway...in March 2002 we stayed at the Poly (Tokelau)
in March 2003 we again stayed in the poly (both garden views) but Tahiti this time...I didn't care for the location quite as much
in Jan 2004 All Star Movies (might ducks) Sorry, but I hated it. I think I have been spoiled, but it was a short vacation and my boyfriends first time there. This time w/out my mother

My problem is discounts aren't quite as great, but I still LOVE the poly...and will be getting the AP so will get those discounts. They seem to be the best and unless I can find a better way to go...it will be the AP. (We have looked a little at Magic Your Way+meals because the food is ever so yummy in disney) Also...should I try something new. My favorite park is EPCOT, BF's is MGM and EPCOT , Daughters is Magic Kingdom of course and mom's is EPCOT. We love being on the monorail...but I guess we can always be away from it. We have thought of the CR, but we will be in the garden views and it doesn't seem to have the theme thing going on like the Poly. That leaves my other choices as the BW and WL....Yup..I have a top four Poly, CR, WL, BW. Any ideas to help me narrow this down or choose would be amazingly great. Oh..the dates we are going will be 3/15-3/22 and we don't want the Yacht/Beach because we are from New England, and AK would be nice...but we like the lakes and having the option of boating and parasailing.

Wow - lots of info, but hope to help you decide. I am also from New England and still truely love YC/BC, so don't rule that out. I definately think you should try an Epcot resort. Walk/boat to Epcot and MGM. Night life and dinning options are great. If mom wanted to take your DD back to the hotel, you and BF can either stay at Epcot or MGM until closing and then you can go to the boardwalk for some night life. Your DD will also love the entertainment they have on the boardwalk.

So if you can swing BW, BC, or YC you wouldn't be disappointed. Good luck deciding and have fun.

I 2nd the Yacht and Beach Club. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to do a decent amount of traveling, and the YC/BC are two of the nicer hotels we've stayed. Good sized rooms, decent food within walking distance, not too loud at night, and the walk to EPCOT is a breeze. The walk to MGM is a bit long, but still do-able.

Good luck and have fun!

My vote goes to the Yacht Club! You can walk or take the boat to Epcot and MGM. The bus service to MK is pretty good. I don't know about bus service to AK as we used our car to get there. Stormalong Bay is awesome! There are also alot of "grown up" things to do nearby at the Boardwalk (while Mom is babysitting :) ).

We too use to only stay at the Poly until we finally tried WL. Now my children love it there (the bunkbeds!) and we enjoy the lobby/rooms in the same building. I have also stayed at the YC and like that, but considering the current rates, the WL is our choice. Most of the Deluxes are now so much more than the WL and AKL, we can't justify the difference in rates, since we stay 12-14 nights each time. We will be there in March and do at least like the fact the the WL has boat access to MK, as opposed to the AKL with only bus transportation everywhere.
I am not sure how long you will be there for, but you could also break up the stay between resorts. We might do this...
Good luck
