Which December week is better for less crowds?

Hello
We planned to go to WDW Dec 3 - 10 and stay at Swan/Dolphin Just learned that this is the week of Pop Warner competition. Are they staying at Swan/Dolphin? I was able to get better dining reservations this week, but am concerned about the crowds. I have two kiddos, 3 & 5.

We can change to Nov 27 - Dec 4, but no dining avail at Chef Mickey's or CRT. Ultimately, I'd rather have less crowds, waits in line.

Which week is better?

Thank you.
Sue

I thought they were at POFQ this year. I know they have been at Pop in prior years. I'm going Nov 30-Dec 5, so I'll get 2 days of them at the parks. Hope they aren't too rowdy. But I've never been that week. The only official week we've been there for is New Jersey Week. Is that right? That was a while back, but I think it was New Jersey.

Where did you hear that they were at POFQ? I hope they are not staying there. I chose POFQ over POR to avoid them. We were surrounded by them in December 2009 at POR and they were very loud late into the night.

Doesn't POR and POFQ get the overflow?

The week after Thanksgiving is when we always go. Our anniversay is Nov. 27th. :goodvibes (Have to celebrate in Disney) That time is becoming busier. But it is still a great time to be there. :thumbsup2

I cannot speak to the crowd levels, but I can speak to what hotels the pop warner kids might be staying in. I read on another thread two weeks ago that two different people sent an email to Disney asking what hotels they would be booked at this year. The response was that they would have a choice between All Star Sports, All Star Music, and the Carribbean Beach. I personally hope this is accurate as I will be staying at the All Star Music from Dec. 6-14. I also hope the crowds are somewhat lower during that week.

I called Disney as I am going to be at WDW 12/3-12/13 as I was staying at ASMusic. I was told they will be at ASMusic, ASMovies and ASSports. I'm not sure of the moderate resort as I did not ask so, I changed my reservation from ASMU to POP to avoid the crows at breakfast and the buses. I read from others that you may see them in the park but it wasn't a big deal it was more about them being in the hotel.

I was told by a travel agent for Disney that "they" are staying at the value resorts and the over flow will be at Caribbean Beach Resort due to the renovations at Port Orleans Riverside. Praise the Lord!! (We are staying at POR!) Everyone has told me that you won't really notice the sports kids being there as they are competing all day. If you are staying at one of their resorts, the buses can get crowded and loud, but that's about all I've heard.

I can speak to the crowds. We have been twice that first week of December (same as Pop Warner) and we never had a problem with crowds. As a matter of fact, the only time we ever saw anyone from Pop Warner was one night in Studios and even then it wasn't bad! :thumbsup2

None of them. Honestly its been at least a good 6 years since Dec had a quiet week.
