which day?

Thanks to someone else on this site, I found the calendar for the Disneyland. The day (THursday) I am planning on going, the park is open 8-8 no fireworks or fantasmic.

We are only going one day. My question is We arrive on wednesday around 12. Wed there is Fireworks. Friday there is fantasmic, but we were hoping to be on our way to Seaworld.

Is it worth trying to fit it all in on Wednesday? Or can we see the fireworks from somewhere outside of the park? We are staying at the Parkvue.

You need to decide which is more important to you: less crowds or fireworks/Fantasmic.

For our family, we always choose days with less crowds. It does mean we miss out on things (we've only seen Fantasmic once in over 30 visits and that was fluke - we didn't know beforehand it was going on, so maybe a soft opening?), the fireworks from the park twice (and twice we've seen them from our hotel - once at Hojos and one at DLH), but we love the short waits for rides!

For others, they don't mind the crowds as much and it is worth longer lines and more people to see the great extras (and they are great!).

You can see the fireworks from the Esplanade and other places, just not the full effect of being in the park and seeing the castle, etc.

When are you going? It'll be helpful knowing this when giving advice.

The reason for this is that June 10 is a grad night. Should be lighter crowds but will have less hours too.
