Which day next week for MK???

Oh, I just don't know what to do! Arriving in Orlando on Sat 5/22 and leaving Sat 5/29. We plan to only do major parks 3 days (other days will be water parks and resort hopping). 2 of the 3 days will be hopping between Epcot and MGM (and maybe a little MK). The 3rd day will be spent all at MK. That's because 1) I got sick on our 10/03 trip and had to leave MK right after lunch so I need to make up for what I missed, and 2) my sis will have to buy a one day non-hopping ticket (she has two hopper days left from the 10/03 trip).

So, I'm trying to decide which day to do MK. Here's what is making my decision difficult:

1) Sun is EMH (we're offsite) and will be busy

2) Mon from my research is supposedly one of their busiest days

3) Tues we have to go to MGM because they are having 2 showings of Fantasmic and we're going to the second one (it was rained out on our 10/03 trip and I've never seen it)

4) Wed MK is closing early for the private DVC Member Homecoming and I want to see Wishes from the front of the castle this time. We were in Frontierland in 10/03 and missed a lot

5) Thurs is EMH and will be busy

6) We don't want to do the major park days one after the other. We were wore out on the last trip and are hoping to avoid that this time around

So, if I haven't lost you , this is what I was thinking of doing:

Sun - Epcot/MGM hopping
Mon - water park
Tues - Epcot AM/MGM PM (Fantasmic at 10:30 PM)
Wed - resort hopping/enjoying our resort (Silver Lake)
Thursday - water park
Friday - MK (Wishes that night); probably take a mid afternoon break and pack up our stuff back at the resort

One thing that bothers me is Tues is EMH for MGM. Also, Epcot is closing early for Member Homecoming (MGM and MK are open til 10 PM). Will MGM be a zoo?

Should I stick w/ Fri for MK? Should I change any of the other stuff around?

I agree with your reasoning. MK on Friday will be best I think. Definately avoiding it on weekends, and your right about the EMH park being more crowded. And Wishes will be a nice magical ending.

Two years ago we went to MK on the Friday night of Memorial Day weekend and it was packed. This year we are going on Monday because its the day after EMH and that has worked well for us the last year or so. Also, since Spectro isn't on Monday night but is being held on Tuesday, we're hoping that more people attend MK on Tuesday.
