Which day for parade?

We have 2 days at Magic Kingdom next week - one is a non-party day and the other a party day. Which day should we plan to watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade? I can come up with pros/cons for each day to take advantage of rides during parade time.

Exactly. It really doesn't matter. The parade is popular, but it's not a madhouse like the fireworks are anyway, so just go whenever you want.

My rule-of-thumb when there are two (basically equal) choices is to plan on attending the first one.

Then, if something happens that one doesn't work out, you still have the "fall back" position of the second availablilty.

The parade is great and has so much to look at so you could go to both parades! I'd suggest sitting at different points in the parade route, though.

I would try and go the first day.
The park will definitely be busier on the day without the party, but it still usually isn't too difficult to get a good spot to see the parade.
We were there 2 weeks ago, in adventureland and heard the parade coming. Walked through a connecting walkway to Frontierland and had a front row seat for the parade.
This was on a non party day. We still had time to do and see everything we wanted to.

Thank you for all of your answers!! So helpful! We will plan to go the first day (non-party). If the girls felt like they missed out and want to do it again we will but there’s also so much else to see at MK! Wishing we had more time there
