Which day for no park day?

We will be in Disneyland in December, arriving on the 10th (Wednesday) and flying out on the 15th (Monday). We have 3-day park hopper tickets. Taking into account crowds, which day will be the busiest and therefore will be our a no park day? Are weekdays really busier than weekends?

I’m not sure that’s true. I’ve been watching thrill data and youtubes since this summer. Weekend is used to be better to visit for a multi day pass for less crowds due to high single day pass price and high tier season pass. Could be different in Dec.

It looks like that is the Dance the Magic weekend. If so, Disneyland will be much more crowded on the Dance the Magic parade day. DCA would be lighter. DTM often has an after hours party in DCA. The park doesn't close early for it, their event is after the park closes. But, when all of the dancers and their families are in DCA for their evening event, DL will be relatively calm.

Only one level of Magic Key is unblocked on Saturday 12/13 and Sunday 12/14. Additionally, one-day ticket prices are more expensive Saturday ($196) and Sunday ($180) compared to Wednesday-Friday ($164).

Those things all together would make me guess that the weekend will be less crowded than the week days.

That said, crowds have been less predictable lately so it can be hard to say. Take into account your own schedule and preferences, plus how many park days in a row you want to do.

In December, all days are likely to be busy. But with the reservation system & the manipulation of magic keys, Saturdays are now one of the best days in the park. Mondays are normally the busiest.
