Which day at parks if not onsite?

We have Wed and Thurs (3/14 &3/15) for IOA and US and were planning IOA for Wednesday, as we've been to US before.
I read that Wed was EE for IOA for onsite guests.
As we are offsite, does this have any effect on our touring plans when we arrive at 9am?
Should we got to US on Wed and IOA on Thurs.?

I've never seen EE have a huge impact on crowds, even when they let everyone in. However, this could have recently changed.
