Which CS in MK for Lunch?????

Hello!! I am still trying to decided which CS place to eat at while at MK. There will be 8 of us....6 adults and 2 children ages 2 & 6. Which CS would you eat at?? And pics of them would be great!

Hands down my favorite CS is Casey's as I love the hot dogs and dd loves the cheese fries.
We are not a large group - just two of us - and most times we eat on the move.

This is my every time in the park habit with few exceptions - I had one at 11pm on Saturday, and that was NOT such a good idea!!! I won't be having one when we run over later this evening!!!!

We really like Columbia Harbor House, great, fresh food in a relaxing atmosphere. The salad is great, the platter, the tuna--it's all good.

With that large a group, though, you may want to look at Cosmic Ray's for greater variety. They have three stations--burgers, rotisserie chicken and sandwiches and soups. There's something to please everyone there. The pace is a little frenetic, but Sonny Eclipse is a hoot for entertainment.

Columbia House. A little out of the ordinary,menu-wise (fish, for example), and usually not crowded. Or at least, not as crowded as, say Pinocchio's or Cosmic Ray's, etc.

Pecos Bill's (is that the right name?) is HUGE - with plenty of seating for large groups.

I would also recommend Columbia Harbour House. The food is very good, and it has a very nice feel for a counter service place. Pecos Bill was also ok, but I found it to be very cramped and hard to deal with.. just my opinion, maybe due to crowds, but I think it would be difficult to eat there with a large group. Cosmic Ray's definitely has a variety, but the food we had there last time was just downright bad. However, it wasn't our first time there, and the other times we were there it was fine. You can't go too bad with any Magic Kingdom counter service. Some foods will be just about exactly the same regardless of where you get them, like chicken fingers. I would have one or two in mind, and then when everyone is hungry and ready to eat, go to whatever is closest.

Columbia Harbor House. Upscale decor is more for a sitdown then a counter service. Sit upstairs. I have been when folks were wandering downstairs looking for a table, while upstairs there were 40 empty. It also has a nice small clean bathroom upstairs. Lots of rooms and windows, we always sit and people watch. In May we sat in the room that is actually a bridge over the walkway - was so neat to have windows on both sides. Food is always good and fresh. The kids could also stretch and move around without you worrying about them.

We also decided to try Cosmic Rays, and while what we got was good, 1/3 of the stations were shut down and I wasn't able to get my salad I wanted....their stations serve different types of food. We liked sitting outside facing the castle and actually ate watching Spectromagic. Was great ! Peco's Bills has good burgers IF the toppings bar is open (one time it wasn't) and great salads, but it is a busy crowded place at most times and we have had problems with them closing sections during the busy hours Last choice would be Pinnochio House. While the food is okay, it is chaos in there and gives me a headache.....too claustrophic, loud and busy.....which leads to not the cleanest of spots. Other smaller eats are around, but lack the seating and place to enjoy - especially if looking for a/c - turn us away.

We did Columbia Harbor House. We ate a late lunch and ate upstairs. There was only one other table occupied upstairs, so it was nice and quiet...and air conditioned! The food was tasty. There was a small problem when ordering, but it's probably a rarity. We were there with another couple. We girls went and found a table and our husbands went to order. The cashier thought the two guys were together (since our friend ordered two things) and never took my husband's order, so our friends had their food long before we did. Steven, the CM, apologized profusely when my DH said something (the CM had taken orders from 2 or 3 other families while my DH was standing there). So, we'd definitely go back. I'm not big on seafood but my friend had the fried fish dinner and said it was terrific. They went back for another meal later in the week.

Actually the CS places in MK are our faves! Pecos Bills has great burgers and toppings bar! Caseys has great hpt dogs and cheese fries! Cosmic Rays has a big variety and I love their turkey bacon wrap with pasta salad. CHH is nice to relax in, I only had a salad when I went and it was ok..I loved sitting upstairs and cooling off.. I havent tried Pinnochios Haus would like to tho maybe I can in Aug..

With us, it's a toss up between Pecos Bills and Columbia Harbor House... Usually, we spend more than one day in MK so we go to both on each trip.
