Which crowd calendar do you trust the most??

I'm trying to figure out which parks we will hit each day before making our ADR's in a few weeks.

We will be spending 3 days in the parks from 1/9 - 1/11, we wish to do MK, Epcot and HS. I have looked at WDW Prep, Undercover Tourist and Easy WDW.

They all show MK a green for Friday 1/9

Saturday 1/10, both WDW Prep and Easy WDW have Epcot as a Green, UC Tourist has Epcot as a Red

Sunday 1/11, both WDW Prep and Easy WDW have HS as a green, but UC tourist has HS as a Red

Thoughts??

i have used UCT several trips in the past, and generally been pleased. i just found easywdw this year, and i like it. i might go with it this year.

the one caveat for UCT is that i don't think you can accurately use their calendar for 2015 yet. If you look, they haven't listed the times for opening/EMH for any of the parks yet after January 1.

After 1/1/15, week after week is just the same pattern over and over. it needs to be updated before it should be used, IMO. i'm not sure why they haven't updated it yet. Clearly, times are available out there already.

kennythepirate.com is the best to me he is local and always in the parks..he knows best....:cool1::thumbsup2

Does the Easy WDW site update often? Has the new EMH times been changed???

My next-door-neighbor's, cousin's, girlfriend's plumber recommends avoiding the parks on sunny days and when there are large tour groups. He also specifically recommends avoiding AK when the animals have not been fed for a couple of days.

Yes, they are updated to the latest schedule. He updates very regularly, typically the same day any change is announced, usually within hours, if not sooner

Easywdw has been pretty much spot on for me my past three trips. I'm hoping it's accurate for my upcoming trip in September, crowds look low! :cool1:

Yep, EasyWDW all the way! And I will be heartily joining you in the "low crowd" dance for September!!! :cool1:pixiedust:

If I had a dime for every time someone started one of the "which calendar is best" threads, I'd have enough money to stay at that new Four Seasons Resort at WDW.

A simple search can go along way...

common courtesy can also go a long way. You are a jerk :)

Well, I took the comment to be jerky.

Thank you for the rest who gave advice!! Excited to plan!!

probably it does. i'm sure the vets on the board get burned out with it.

but the terse (and kind of snarky) post to a newbie read a bit harsh to me, too.

I agree! It could have been pointed out in a kinder way. I think it can take a while to find out the ways of these forums and those types of comments can put a newbie off for good!:sad1:

Thanks, and I'm not put off at all, takes a lot more to offend me :)

Seems my thread was helpful to some other newbies here, so I'm glad for that.

Thanks to yall I found josh's site and its helping me re-do my August trip since the whole frozen thing and the change of EMH has messed it up. I also like the reasoning behind it, so thanks!!

My site for planning is the Touring Plans site. For me, I like that is is based on maths. I think this is one of those times that data is your friend. There is no riot here. I've never used Josh's site and it might be fantastic. I just found TP first, it works for me and so I've never felt the need to look anywhere else. I have visited several times at Christmas (week), Easter and August. Busy. Can count the times I've stood in line more that 15 minutes on two hands after a dozen trips of at least two weeks each. So I think, based on my experience, their site is good.

Go to Josh's site and delete TP's bookmark from your browser. You'll thank me tomorrow.
