Four months from today we start our WDW Christmas trip with as much Christmas as possible! We have a free evening and are trying to decide which is more enjoyable and doable- an evening at Disney Springs with the Christmas Tree Stroll, or a carriage ride through Fort Wilderness to see the decor and possibly Hoop de Do, although I don’t think that show is very Christmas. We are a family of 7 ranging in ages from 2-70. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge and will have our own transportation if needed. Those who have done these, please weigh in with pros and cons. Thank you!

The christmas tree stroll is nice but it can get really cramped and crowded. The trees themes are fun but depending on when you're there, it can be hard to see much of anything. I have never done the carriage ride around FW but it does sounds nice. I presume they take you around the full property so you can see all the people who decorate around their cabins/campsites.

We have resort hopped using the monorail and we just visited the MK resorts to see their Christmas trees, the GF gingerbread house, have a snack or two, eat a meal, it's really nice.

I agree that the Christmas Tree stroll is overly crowded and not as fun as it sounds. DS is totally mobbed during the holidays.
