which characters at which character meals?

I am actually wondering if Mickey is at any of the character meals? I want my grandson to meet Mickey and would rather do a character meal than have to wait in line. DGS will be about 21 mos old when we go, and I am not sure how well the waiting in line is going to go!

Mickey is the host of the the Surf's Up with Mickey at the PPH. This is the only meal he is at. Other's that have been there: Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, & Stitch.

One more thing.....this tends to be a smaller character meal & so you get lots of one on one with the characters!! A much better way to see the characters than standing in the long lines!!!

when are you going? the reason I ask is because if its not at a peak time you should be able to see mickey without really waiting in line. mickey is permanently in toon town. you have to go through his house and then they bring in groups of 8-10 at a time and visit with him. There are up to 4 mickey's there at any given time, you can't see them all at once as they are in different rooms. Which means even during peak times there are 40 groups of people seeing mickey at once.

If you hit toon town at opening --1 hr later than the rest of the park-- and head to mickey first, there will be no wait.

Just another option in case you weren't aware. Personally, I love character meals but if the focus is mickey, there's a free and easy alternative available.

I knew he was available in toon town, but I think we will still go for the character meal. We will be there May 21st- May 25th (sat-tues at the parks),so I don't know if it will be really crowded, but if it's not, maybe we will do the meal and also see him in TT. DGS absolutely LOVES the MM Clubhouse cartoons, and I don't know if he will recognize many of the characters, but I know he will love Mickey. Thats assuming he isn't scared witless by a giant mouse! LOL
