DD and I spent 3 days at DL and we did breakfast with Minnie and we loved it ... there were so many characters there .

So we are going back in about a week for one day at the park - we want to do one hotel dinning experience and thinking about doing Goofy's Kitchen.....will the same group be there ? Would love to see some different friends .

who did you see there ? which is better - dinner or brunch ?

We went to GK in April for Dinner. We saw Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Snow White, Chip & Dale. We saw more characters at Minnie and Friends.
I think you will be fine with either Brunch or Dinner.

We like dinner better.

Characters we have seen have been Mulan, Minnie, Cinderella, Belle, Goofy, Max, Pluto, the Fairy Godmother, Geppetto, Chip and Dale, Hook, Aurora, Cruella, Baloo, and a few others I can't recall. The only one I can say I haven't seen there is Mickey.

We have seen different characters each time..some overlapping, some new each time.

From what I remember we always see, Goofy of course, Pluto, Chip and Dale. In addition to those, we have seen Jasmine (most times), the Fairy Godmother, Minnie, Aladdin, Cinderella (once) and Aurora (once)...

Its been a few years since I have done it but I recall seeing Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale (who were too funny by the way). Seeing how I cant remember any others I guess that means its time to go again!:rotfl:

We have been down to DL twice and both times went to GK.
We saw Pluto (when you go in) Goofy, Cinderella, Mulan, Baloo (scared DD half to death!) Chip and Dale, Aurora, and snow white. Goofy was awesome...he kept stealing DH's hat and rubbing his head...it was awesome. We are going to do Minnie and Friends next time though because we have never done that one :)

We have seen:
Goofy and Max
Pluto
Jasmine and Aladin
Chip and Dale
Alice and the Mad Hatter
Donald

We were at GK a few weeks ago for breakfast and saw Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Cinderella, Mulan and Baloo. I do think there are more characters at Minnie's (but I haven't been there in a few years). If you must see Mickey - Surf's Up at Paradise Pier has Mickey, Stitch, Minnie, Daisy and Pluto (sometimes Goofy too). Stitch is great with his antics - and you get Mickey which is nice! They dance/hula-hoop with the kids - it is my DD4 and DD6's favorite. Only open for breakfast and DH and I both enjoyed the food. You really can't go wrong with any of them :goodvibes

We've done it once, we did not enjoy ourselves. We saw many characters, we only had 3 come to our table. We did meet Baloo when we came in and Pluto was doing photos there when we left (but we did not meet him), we saw Goofy only when he came out to "play", we had Snow White (who remembered seeing the girls the day before at the Animation Academy in DCA, that was super cool), Chip & Dale and that was all, we saw many more characters walk past on their way to break time but none stopped at our table, not even with 2 younger kids sitting there.....we ran into Cinderella on our way out, she was gracious enough to take a minute for my youngest, Cinderella is her favorite Princess. :)
I much prefer M&Fs, we like the food choices better and the characters are plentiful and more interactive. For lunch or dinner we like Ariel's Grotto, yes it's only Princesses but the food is a perfect fit for our family.

We prefer Minnie's, we go there every trip. However, we did have a good time at Goofy's a couple of weeks ago. We saw: Goofy, Cinderella, Mulan, Rafiki, Chip, Dale, Pluto and Baloo.

We were there last November & saw Mad Hatter, Goofy, Pluto, Dale, Snow White, Pinocchio, & Dale.

We just had dinner at Goofy's a couple of nights ago. We saw Chip, Dale, Pluto, Minnie, Aladdin, and the Mad Hatter. We would have been happy even if he was the only character we saw because the interaction was so good. He stayed in our area for a long time and messed around with all of the kids. I've never seen him at a character meal before but he made our dinner a lot of fun. Even though he was acting like a lunatic, he still took a moment to talk very sweetly to our almost 2 year-old.

The food selection was excellent as well!
