Hello everyone! Me and my family are going to Disney in July. We want to do atleast one character meal for either breakfast or dinner. I have 3 kids. Any feedback on which Disney character resteraunt you liked the most. Thank you so much!

Our favorite is Chef Mickey at the Contemporary!!! Every trip we schedule a Chef Mickey Charactor Breakfast. In our family its the best. There are others, that provide Princess' and Pooh and Tigger. So you could totally base your choice and your favorite charactors.
The ones at Chef Mickey are Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Those are who we saw when we were there last. :thumbsup2

We really enjoyed Crystal Palace last year with Pooh and his pals. The food selection was very good. Finding smoked salmon on the buffet was a big plus! Character interaction was lots of fun too.

Chef Mickey's was fun when we did it in 2005. Good selection, but seemed a little less organized than Crystal Palace. Good character interaction.

Ohana was fun because we are big Stitch fans, but while the food was good, neither of us is a big fan of family style served meals.

I would love to do CP again, the others, not so much.

We are trying Cape May Character Breakfast for the first time in May. I have heard great things about food, atmosphere, and characters. We will then just walk into the World Showcase.

If you have girls, we loved the Princess breakfast in Norway. The food is awesome, and the princess interaction is priceless. Our younger sons also enjoyed the princess'

Cape May breakfast is our favorite character meal, we go every trip. The food is wonderful and the characters are so cute in their bathing suits. CP breakfast or dinner is another favorite of ours. Trying Tusker House and Chef Mickeys breakfast in April.

We enjoyed dinner at Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's and CRT on our trip. However, I think Chef Mickey's would be better at breakfast. I have heard good things about Garden Grill, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May Cafe and Tusker House. We walked by Garden Grill and it seemed much less hectic than Chef Mickey's. I would choose based on your kids' ages/fav characters. Also, you should consider the restaurant location and how that fits into your schedule. There are many good choices! :)

We have a now 4-yr-old DD and also took our 10-yr-old niece in July. We did lots of character meals. I think it depends on your kids and what ages they are too.

For breakfast meals we did Crystal Palace with Pooh & friends; Princess breakfast in Norway (Snow White, Aurora, Mary Poppins, Mulan came to table and got to meet Belle at entrance); Play & Dine with JoJo, Goliath, and 2 of the Little Einsteins (Leo and June for those that care).

We also did dinner at Chef Mickeys (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald).

We did 2 other sit-downs that the kids liked - Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge, and Sci-Fi Drive In.

BTW if anyone has allergies, all of the Chefs at these sit downs bend over backwards to make sure DN didn't get any cross-contamination (gluten allergy) and even came back out mid-meal to see if she wanted anything else to eat.

Hope this helped...

My all time favortie breakfast is at the Crystal Palace, we usually go there or Chef Mickey's. Of the two, I think CP has the better food, but CM does have better, or should I say quicker character interaction.

This past Jan we tried Donald's Safari, and now this is one of our faves! The food was very very good! The characters were also great, and quicker than the ones at CP, meaning they make the rounds quicker. Oh, and did I say the food was very very good...

Our favorite is always Liberty Tree. It's quaint, great character interaction, and it's in MK...My family and I really love family style meals since we don't have to get up to eat and lose potential character time. We also love "comfort food", and this place delivers.
Chip and Dale, Goofy, Pluto and Minnie come by, all dressed in colonial clothes. Plus they call out your names in the foyer and make a big deal of you dining with them. It's not chaotic like many of the buffets. My sons insist on this place everytime, and I agree with them. We will be eating there our first night again this trip!

We enjoyed Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Garden Grill. We love to go to the Garden Grill for a character lunch when we're in Epcot. There's also a character dinner there.

We loved Chef Mickeys and Cinderellas Royal Table.

Hope this is a help!

The kid's and our favorited character breakfast is Chef Mickeys.

It has that great Disney atmosphere and the kids LOVE the monorail coming through above them.

Crystal Palace is second, I think the food there is better and it's nice to get in before the park opens and take pics of the castle without other people in it.

But for the fun and the characters, the kids LOVE Chef Mickeys:wizard:

Our Family Favorite is O'HANAS Best Friends Breakfast.
We really enjoy going to "the Poly"
(since we cannot afford to stay there) the food is very good.
Unlike a previous poster we really like the Family style because
I'm not a big fan of Buffets (they gross me out--everyone touching everything)
with the family style they bring platters to your table and
your family shares from that--no need to get up and go get your food.
LOVE Lilo & Stitch--they also have Mickey & Pluto.
There is also a kids parade with the Characters
around the restarant--So Cute!!

:woohoo: Thanks! We ended up booking Chef Mickey's, Princess Norway, Cape May Cafe, and are thinking bout the Crystal Palace. We also booked the Spirit Of Aloha, Kona Cafe, and LeCellier Steak House. Thanks a bunch for helping me with the Character meals!
