Which character meal should I keep for our last day?

I have an ADR scheduled at Crystal Palace on our last full day at WDW. It's at 3:30 which is an awkward time to eat but it's the best I have been able to get at CP for our date. Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm for MNSSHP on that day and we are not attending the party. Just a few minutes ago, I was able to get a ressie at Chef Mickey's for 8:45 which is a little late for our 4 year old BUT we want to keep her up late the last night anyway because we want her to sleep as much as possible on the car ride home the next morning (we are checking out of the hotel very early).

Which ressie would you keep? I don't want to take up two reservations so I feel like I need to decide quickly. Whichever we choose will be our last meal at Disney before we head home.

Thanks!

Which characters would your DD enjoy the most?
Things to consider is CP will give you a chance to get out of the afternoon heat and if you end up having to wait to be seated at CM's, you'll be there even later. More than likely it will be after 9 before you get to eat.

I love both places and have ADRs for both. :yay:

Have a good trip! :goodvibes

I think I would keep CP. As the prior poster noted, it is very possible that you would not be seated until at least 9 pm. Overtired 4 yr olds are known to have total meltdowns; you don't really want that to be your final Disney memory.

Could you find something else to do with her after the 7pm MK closure that would still be very "Disney" and would hopefully keep her up late, but without the problems of a full meal? Does she like Chip & Dale? You could take the boat from MK to Ft. Wilderness campground and do the Chip & Dale campfire singalong & marshmallow roast (free unless you need to buy the marshmallows there), followed by a free outdoors Disney movie screening. Then whenever she does actually crash you can just go back to your hotel.

I like the idea of the campfire! I will ask my teenage daughter what she thinks about it. The original plan was to go back to the hotel after the 7 pm park closing while me and our two girls either hung out by the pool or caught the bus over to downtown Disney. The more I think about it, the more I think Quin is correct- it would be awful for us to be at CM with a cranky 4 year old and it would be better to try and keep her up in a non-restaurant setting.

If anyone wants the CM ressie on October 7 at 8:45 pm, I am going over to the website to cancel the ressie right now.
