Which character meal is your favorite?

Cape May breakfast is our favorite, good food, quiet atmosphere (if you go when they open), great character interaction

1900 PF breakfast was horrible, too loud and chaotic, terrible food.

I'd have to say my favorite is any meal at the Crystal Palace. I have done both breakfast and dinner there, and they are both great! The food is yummy, and the whole restaurant is so pretty. It is so bright and festive, with Pooh and friends signing autographs and having a parade around the restaurant. It has become a must do every time I go to Disney World.

Least favorite? I haven't had a bad character meal, but maybe the one in the Land Pavillion? And that is just because you only see Chip, Dale, Minnie and Mickey, and it is hard to interact with them the way the seating is set up. The food there is good too.

Our favorite used to be Donalds Breakfastasaurus......great breakfast great CM's and great characters..........we loved it and did it as a family and also just hubby and myself.
We also love Crystal Palace.....we did this with four adults and then just hubby and myself last year........In May we are going with a group of 9 .....I am sure they will enjoy it also.
Never really had a bad character meal.......

We love breakfast at Chef Mickeys! It has become a meal that is a must for every trip we take! We've always had very good character interaction and the food is quite yummy. :thumbsup2 This year we're trying their dinner buffet.

For character interaction we've always been happy at Liberty Tree. For food, we prefer Garden Grill.

We have always had the best character interaction at Liberty Tree. For the food, we love Crystal Palace for any meal!

We haven't really had any bad character meal experiences but if I had to pick our least favorite, I would say Chef Mickeys dinner. We are going to try breakfast this trip.

Our favorite is Crystal Palace--love the puffed french toast and Pooh and friends are my favorite characters.
Our least favorite is Ohana. We stopped going when they changed it from Minnie Menehue Character Breakfast with Minnie, Chip and Dale, Pluto and Goofy. We just do NOT like Stitch at all.

My wife and I visit the Cape May Cafe each trip. Although our children are adults now, we still get a kick out of watching the young ones interact with the characters, while we enjoy our breakfast. I highly recommend their bread pudding.

I have to agree about Cape May :thumbsup2 I did not think the food was that bad at 1900 PF, but I was not really impressed with the character interaction.

We've eaten at several Character meals but the one
we've continue to go to every year is: O'hanas Best Friends breakfast
at the POLY. We love being able to visit the POLY even though
we can't afford to stay there. We love the atmosphere,
the food is good. The best part is the characters:
LiLo & Stitch, Mickey, Pluto. There is a Kids parade around the
Restuarant with the Characters--very fun!!.
I suggest if you are trying a Character Meal for
the 1st time to go for Breakfast, because breakfast is hard to
mess up. We have went for some lunch and dinner Character meals
and found the food not be very good.

Our favorite is Crystal Palace dinner we do it every year before the Christmas Party. Great Character interaction, tigger and pooh are our favorite, the food is good too!!!

My favorites are CRT lunch, LTT dinner, and CP dinner. I do them every trip (at least once).

Our favorite for both food and character interaction is Crystal Palace. We liked the character interaction at Liberty Tree Tavern but weren't impressed with the food. Our least favorite character meal on our last trip was Chef Mickey's. It was crowded and chaotic and the service was slow (although the chef there was great dealing with my dd's food allergies).

Our favorite pleace with character interaction has been garden grill. we have also had great times at crystal palace and ohana.

we had exactly the opposite experience... cape may food was lousy, Park Fair had great food.

I would say our favorite (DH & I) is 1900 Park Fare breakfast. Great food, and terrific character interaction. We have somereally cute pictures of our DDs with the Mad Hatter and Alice! All of the characters came by more than once, and Mary Poppins was wonderful with our girls both times we've been there. It's now a must do!

Our girls (ages 5 & 3 1/2) would say CRT because they love the princesses and it's so fun to eat in the castle. We really liked breakfast here, but didn't care very much for lunch, although that may be due to the fact that when we ate lunch there last year there was a HUGE palmeto bug (it's a roach in my book-haha!) was crawling around on the wall right next to us. My mom took off her shoe and killed it before it got too close, or took off flying!!!

We have been to the following character meals:

Ohana breakfast -- Loved it! Love the Poly, loved the food and great character interaction

Crystal Palace -- lunch--we liked this place too especially if yoo are a Pooh and friends fan. This restaurant is beautiful!

Donald's restaurantasaurus-- not there anymore, but we liked it. I think for breakfast we liked the family style meal over the buffet.

Liberty Tree Tavern--neat atmosphere, great character interaction, lousy food.

:happytv: dh, :surfweb: dm, :dance3: dd,'s 12, 9, & 9

I've been to:

Crystal Palace breakfast: great food, beautiful restaurant, characters were fun

Akershus breakfast: pretty crowded when we went, so not a lot of time with the princesses, although they were very nice and dd had a blast... food was ok

1900 Park Fair breakfast: yummy food, lots of character interaction

Garden Grill lunch: best food I thought (my others were breakfast though, so may not be a fair comparison) would love to go back! characters were a little rushed when I was there, but the food more than made up for it... I also liked sitting in the outer part, and watching the changing scenes

I haven't been disappointed in a character meal yet. Trying CRT lunch and Cape May breakfast this June... can't wait!

I'm going on my 6th trip in 3 years in April and we are going to our first character meal. It's usually just myself (26) and my DBF (29), so we don't do the character meals, but we decided to try one this time. DBF picked 1900 PF breakfast. I 'm hoping we have one of the good experience and not loud and chaotic with lousy food!!
