I have not been to Disney since '92 and am at a loss as to which place to go. It will be the first full day of our trip so I think we will be at MK.

My favorite restaurant in MK is Crystal Palace! Every meal is wonderful there!

Chef Mickey's in the CR is great too! She'll love the monorail ride to the restaurant!

I will second the choice of Crystal Palace. The Winnie the Pooh characters are great for the age group of your child. It is also a plus to get into the park before opening and get the photos in front of the castle.

Crystal Palace it is! Thank you everyone. I only have until the 17th to make my decisions for our ADR's.

I would agree that CP would be a delightful place to spend your birthday, but just a word of caution: When we took my then 2 year old DD to CP 4 years ago, Piglet came by first and she was thrilled, but then Tigger came by and she absolutely freaked out. After that, she would have nothing to do with Pooh and Eeorye.

If you have any inkling that your DD may not like the characters (and we didn't), you may want to consider going to CRT, or maybe 1900 Park Faire. I've never been to either but I think all the characters have faces, if you know what I mean.

Another vote for Crystal Palace! But I agree to make sure that your DD isn't afraid of the characters first!
