I know our trip isn't for a while yet, but I find Disney planning to be a relaxing break from wedding planning. ;)

So here's my question, we will be 3 adults staying at AKL and would like to go to a Character Breakfast one morning. We think our best bet is a morning before MK opens. So we've narrowed it down to 3 options; Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, or Crystal Palace. Which would you recommend and why?

If you want Mickey over Pooh, scratch Crystal Palace. If you want Pooh over Mickey, CP is your place.

If you want a buffet, CP or Chef Mickey's. If you prefer to have your food brought to you, Ohanas. (All are all you can eat).

If you are looking for an excuse to check out a resort - Ohana's or Chef Mickey's. The Poly is a great resort to check out, so my nod would go to Ohanas - but some people find watching the monorail move through the CR to be facinating. If you want to stroll down Mainstreet before opening for your PS and take a picture of yourself in front of the castle with no (or few) people, CP.

If you want to wait until later to get PSs - Ohanas can often be booked fairly last minute. If you want THE place to be - Chef Mickey's.

WE did Chef Mickey's breakfast for the first time in June--we had done dinner several times.

We had a great time and thought the food was good:D

If it's just adults, you'd do better at Ohana's or Crystal Palace. Chef Mickey's is nice, but the atmosphere is very frentic and loud. It can be fun if you like hyperactive Disney, but if that's not your thing, CP or Ohana is easier to handle.

JMO, but the food at Chef Mickey's leaves a LOT to be desired. My DW loves it; I think it's just barely this side of edible.

We did the CB at Ohana and though the food was OK. We did enjoy the breakfast at CP.

Since you are staying at AKL, have you considered Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK? We had the character breakfast there last summer, and it was really good- one of the best we've had.
