Hiya!!
We've bought the 10 day world pass which includes a character breakfast. We want to get PS for one and was wondering which would be best for transportation to (we are staying off site) and for getting to the park after. We're not really fussed which park its in or close to but just want to make sure we make the right choice!! (DD is 10) Also do you think it is better to eat early before the park opens or make a PS for latest possible time and get some rides done first.
Please help!!! :Pinkbounc

Just moving you over to Trip Planning :D

How about Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary?

Thanks Kaylee
:)
We are planning on visiting the MK on 23rd May. We want an early start to the park. Have you any idea what the earliest time we can book PS seating ?? Also how long it takes to get to the Contemporary from the carpark??
Thanks
Janine

There is a wide choice of brekkies and each have their strong ( and weak ) aspects. Much depends on what you like/want/expect.

Without doubt the best characters are at Cinders Castle, but it has probably the least imaginative and most inflexible food options. Food is an important part of the experience for me and this is one breakfast I was glad I did once, but that is enough.

For food I think the breakfasts at the Y+B club hotel's Cape May Cafe and the Grand Floridian's Park Fare 1900 are the best. Cape May has ChipnDale in Hawaiian shirts, 1900 has Pooh and friends, often Mary Poppins is at the front desk as well. In the parks I had a great breakfast (food and characters) at the Crystal Palace, again this was Pooh, Eeyore, Tiggr and Piglet. Not sure if the set up at Crystal Palace is still the same, but IMHO this is one of the best "in the park" offerings. In general the breakfasts in the parks tend to be busier, louder and the staff under a little more pressure to make sure they keep the turnover rate up, you usually get a slightly more relaxed time in the hotels. At the buffets there is A LOT OF FOOD, so I plan not to have lunch when I have one. If you can go all the way through the day then it doesn't matter when you have it, I found it works best for me however to have a relatively late breakfast (brunch), if you time it well as we did at Crystal Palace you can manage to get a few of the lunch options as well :p LOL

we' ve got the 10 day tickets & Crystal palace isn't included in the ticket.

On our last visit we went to Breakfastsaurus which is in Animal kingdom & is included in the ticket. It was a character buffet breakfast & we all loved it. Can definately recommend it. We made a later PS got to Animal Kingdom early , it was our first day, & did several rides 1st. Because we ate late (& Lots?!!!) we didn't need to stop for lunch.

This year we've used our tickets to book the breakfast at the Grand Floridian Hotel at 1900 park Fayre & intend to go via the monorail to Magic Kingdom after. I'm really looking forward to it. We've decided to go on our 1st morning, again.

Thank you all so very much for your replies. Waited up last night and phoned Disney. Got a PS for Friday for 8.20 at Breakfast.........ous(cant remember full name!) at AK. Also got one for Chef Mickeys towards the end of the holiday for 11.15.
Thanks again for your help :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
