Hi, we have 2 boys (3 & 6) and we haven't been in Disneyland in 3 years.

We are considering Goofy's Kitchen, Minnie and friends & Lilo & Stich. I've heard Stich can be really rude.

Which one in your opinion is best and where do you consider they serve the best food choices for little guys?

We are going the 2nd week of october. I'm sooo happy!!!

Goofy's and Lilo have chicken strips which are great. We really enjoy GK and Lilo. Don't worry about Stitch. We really had a great time there!

Stitch isn't rude, Stitch is...Stitch!

While I do quite enjoy the Lilo & Stitch buffet, the food choices at Goofy's Kitchen are the best, IMO. It's a HUGE buffet with lots of food choices, so the kids will definitely find something they'll enjoy. There are many more characters there as well. I've not done the Minnie & Friends breakfast, so I can't advise on that one.

Have fun on your trip!!!

We love Minnie's breakfast at Plaza Inn, good food and food choices. Storyteller's is good too and you can order from the menu if you don't want to do the buffet.

I like Goofy's best. I agree with what has been said before, if food quality and variety is a choice nothing beats Goofy's.

Stitch is... yeah, Stitch. A bit rowdy. I can see where it might be a bit much for kids.

He very much annoyed one of my friends two years ago who just wanted to eat in peace, but Stitch decided to be curious and wouldn't go away.

If the kids know the movie and maybe the TV series and know what to expect of Stitch they should be okay though.

I've only been to Goofy's Kitchen and Minnie & Friends and I liked Goofy's a lot better. Not only was there a greater selection of food but the quality was better as well. The characters were also a lot more entertaining and they actually make sure to go to each and every table. However, Minnie & Friends did have a lot more characters (there were 11 when I went last week) but not all of them stopped at my table. They would make it halfway around our section and then disappear :sad2:

I hope you'll have tons of fun regardless of which character meal you end up going to :goodvibes

Oh boy! So many nice reviews for all 3 of them.

The only character breakfast we have ever done was @ Tusker House earlier this year in Animal Kingdom and to our surprise it had all the major characters: mickey, minnie, goofy, donald, daisy & pluto.
That was a treat!

We are not picky, we love everyone @ Disney! No character discrimination for us!!!!!

I have a friend who just told me she's heard that the Mad Hatter shows up at Goofy's. Can anyone confirm this?

We've never met him before.

He's not a regular, but yes, Mad Hatter has been seen at Goofy's.

Your chances to meet him are better when he plays Musical Chairs with kids at Coke Corner though. I think that's at 2.30 PM.

Thanks for tip Vala!

Sounds like something nice to do. Watch your kids play musical chairs with the mad hatter.............

isn't it nice to be a kid?

We have done all 4 character breakfasts. For the food, my fave would be Storyteller's and then Goofy, Minnie, Lilo.
For the characters, I would go Goofy, Minnie, Lilo, and then Storyteller's. Unless, your kids have know who Chip & Dale are and Brother Bear, they may not be as excited as one of the other choices.

If you are not staying at one of the disneyland hotels, I would go with Minnies breakfast b/c it is the only one inside the park. The other ones would be a lot of back and forth walking! Minnies has Pooh characters, Capt Hook, Baloo the Bear, Chip N Dale, Fairy Godmother, Minnie, etc. They may be more fitting for lil boys.

We have only done the Goofy's Kitchen breakfast! We loved it! There was a VERY wide selection of foods, which was great for our group of 7. It accommodated the picky eaters as well as one with special dietary needs very nicely.

Mad Hatter was there at GK during our Fall '07 trip, and about 5-6 other characters. My kids loved how they signed the table as well as their autograph books!
