Which Category for Hoop-De-Doo? Does it matter?

I have never been to HDDR. I think it sounds really fun! Does it matter which category I choose? Will it make or break my evening? It would be cool to have my Dad chosen to be in the show. Do I need category 1 for that to happen? Give me the scoop, please!

I would choose the best category as there really isn't a large difference in price and being center near the front is much better. And, usually, that is where they choose participants.

I know if you're using the DDP you cannot get the tier 1. I believe you must choose either tier 2 or 3. I think the only way you can get tier 1 (close to stage) while using the DDplan is if you eat at 9:15. HOpe this helps.

We've been in both 1 and 2 and honestly prefer cat 2. You get interaction in either area. And IMO you can see much better in the cat 2 sections. We always have a wonderful time regardless though.

We got category 1 seating on the meal plan. It was for the 9pm show but we definitely got it. The past time we went to the 7:45 show and it was category 2 and it was hard at times to see what was going on as we were all the way in the back right near the podium where you check in. HTH
