Dh and I are getting ready for re-booking at the end of our next cruise. Category 9's are in our budget. Which one would you choose and why?

Also, is it that much more to have two adjoining staterooms? We are a family of 2 adults, 1 teen, and l child.

Thanks much! This trip we're in the aft of Deck 2 with a Cate. 9.

We're taking our third cruise in May and it will be our second trip on deck 2. (Category 9.) This year we're in 2070, and we like it because it's midship.

As far as two adjoining rooms, if our budget is ever able to afford it, we'll definitely do it. (We'll probably have to book two cat's 11.) ESPECIALLY with a teen. (Do you have a teenage girl? She'd probably love the extra space for her clothes!)

You could always try booking two connecting Secret Porthole rooms on deck 5 if possible. They are really cat 8s at a cat 10 price! The location is great for a child going to the lab/club and it is central to the other floors so its easy to use the stairs.

We will be in a Cat. 9 on Deck 2 this October. We chose 2614 because it is not on the noisy rooms list, it is aft and it is right near the Aft Elevators.

The only things I would make sure of with a Cat. 9 room is that it isn't on the Noisy Rooms list at www.dcltribute.com and that it is on Deck 2, not Deck 1 as we prefer the larger porthole.

This is a great cat. 9 room. It is longer then the other cat. 9 room by several feet. It is at the front of the ship. There were no rooms across the hall, so no hallway traffic, and even though it is listed as a noisy room, it was really quiet!! I loved it and wouldn't hesitate to book it again. Also rooms 2502, 2004 & 2002 are bigger cat. 9 rooms. ::MickeyMo

What would make adjoining staterooms expensive is that all 4 people would be charged as adults. The first two people in any stateroom are charged as adults.

Thank you everyone for your input and knowledge! We sure appreciate all the wonderful people on this board.

Looking forward to re-booking!

Thanks again!

I stayed in 2518 recently. It's on the list of noisy rooms - except that it was not at all noisy.

It's under the new sports bar on the Magic. The loudest thing in that bar were the televisions, which definitely did not bleed into the room below.
