Which cabin loop should i try to request? We will not have a golf cart and Dh doesnt want to take the car out once we park it (thats the reason he wanted to stay onsite rather then offsite). So we will be relying on the internal FW transportation as well as the Disney transportation. My son has a mild form of MD. At 7 he still uses the stroller for any outing that takes alot of walking (zoo, outlet mall shopping, ect). As much as i would love to ditch the stroller this year i know he wouldn't be able to handle a Disney run without it. This makes it important to have a cabin close to transporation and short walk to the pool area.
So which is best to request? When should i make the request?

2500 and 2600 are closest to the pool and near a bus stop. When you make the request tell them it is for "medical need"..Get it added to your reservation right now and the follow up ten days before your arrival..

No matter what, request a cabin near the bus stop. That will help a lot with the walking.

I like loop 2100. You can easily walk to the pool with the slide.

I've stayed in Loop 2100 and 2400, and both were nice. 2100 was REALLY close to the bus, and we didn't visit the pool that trip. 2400 was closer to the pool, but we were farther in the loop, and it wasn't much trouble. But definedly get it on the ressie now that it's for medical purposes...that helps. 2500 and 2600 are closer to the cabin pool, and with your son's condition, that pool may be better. I have a rare form of MD and the pool REALLY helps!! So being close to the pool was a must. We walked to the cabin pool from 2400, but it wasn't too much of a big deal, it was a nice walk, saw LOTS of critters!! Where ever you are, you will definedly be happy, I ADORE the cabins!!!!!!!

Does the "cabin pool" have a hot tub? I cant find pictures of the cabin pool

I think when we were there, they were working on it. There were alot of green fences, and I think that's what it was. Not totally sure. But, the pool was WONDERFUL, it was deeper then the main pool, and NOT crowded at all!! There was at most maybe 5 other people in the water with us....while we were there, and the times were usually around 2 in the afternoon, prime swimming time for September.

Is there really a hot tub at the pool by the cabins? WOW! That would be great!

which pool has the slide and which pool has the kids splash pool area? Is it the same pool or different ones?

TCD recently showed Photo's of the completely hot tub. Check out is recent TR.

The splash area is at the big pool. Not the cabin pool.

We stayed in the front of the 2600 loop. It was very convenient to the bus stop, and a short walk to the pool. Best of all the cabins pool now has a hot tub! Yes, dear, now we can return to the FW Cabins.

LOL that looks good, wish it was done when we were there!!! But, next trip, right? I LOVED that cabin pool, with my condition, something as simple as treading water is SOOOOO theraputic, it just felt good. Let alone it was like 100 degrees outside!! HAHAHA

We stayed in Cabin 2501 and it was the perfect location!!!! It was right by the pool and the bus stop. I don't think we ever waited for more than 5 minutes to catch the bus. What I liked about it also was that since it wasn't right next to the pool, like the 2400 loop is, you didn't get the noise from the pool, but it literally took me 45 seconds to get to the pool. There is also a laundry right there as well. Next time we go,which will be January 2011:sad::sad:we would like to request the same cabin!
