i have never stayed at the bwv and im not sure which room to request, please help me choose your favorite room for a standard view.
thanks;)

do you want a nicer view or do you want to be close to the elevators?

I ask for a water view - there is one - where it is close to the parking lot - we loved it - easily access to the car - out the back door - we also had a first floor room. but mother says she has to be close to the elevators and they are just about as far from the elevators as you can get.

i dont need to be close to the elevators. i think maybe close to the pool would be nice.;)

the pools are all preferred view - but ask for that - then have the bell services - (if they still can) - show you the shortcut to the pool - you go through the side doors.

I don't know if they still allow you to go back and forth (you need your key so bring it) on the side doors.

im going on my points and i know im getting a standard view, and im sure the pool view is not a standard view . is which that is fine with me, i would probable like to just be close, i dont need to be looking at the pool and hear the noise too. lol.;)

we had a great 1 bedroom standard last year. It was across from the bus stop on the 4th floor (4103). Had a perfect view of the fireworks from Illuminations, we could even hear the music. It was about halfway down the hall, so not too far of a walk. We were on the corner above the pond on the 3rd floor the year before but there was a big tree blocking the view.

We had 3123, I believe, in 2001. It was 5 rooms from the very end of the hall, and there was a big tree in front of the balcony directly where the Epcot fireworks were. The rooms on either side would have been wonderful.
Last year we asked for close to elevator because dad had an ECV and we got the first room off of the elevator--great at the end of the day, but a view of the valets and bell services!

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/boardwalk As others have said, asking for a specific room and getting it is slim. This will give you an idea of “sectional views”.

(You may also want to check it at again over the weekend. I just returned and have a lot of reports that were sent to me to update)

Good luck

thanks, ill go check it out right know. i know its a slim chance of getting a certain room, i have never stayed there and i just didnt want to go in blind .
thanks !;) ;)

We stayed in a standard last year and will be next year too. Last year our room 3222 or something like that. It was perfect. My parents were in the first studio off the elevator overlooking the valet parking, which is not my preference. I don't want to be right next to the elevators, but don't want to be at the very end either, so I just requested mid-way from the elevators. We'll see what that gets.:) Either way I'm at Disney so I'll be happy!!

I always request to be away from the elevators because I like the views much better. It is of the waterway, bridge and front enterance in the front of the resort and the waterway to MGM on the side. You can even see TOT and the Fantasmic fireworks and hear the music. There are plenty of birds, ducks and other assorted wildlife in the grass and water, it is very quiet and in all reality the walk is max maybe 5 min from the fartherest room to the lobby ,in very nice air conditioned hallways that even has hidden Mickeys for your entertainment! I will admit that first walk to the room when you are just eager to get in your room seems like you are walking and walking but once you get the lay of the land and figure out alternate exits and routes it is a breeze and it is a very nice room location.
