I just reserved OKW Hospitality House section and I am wondering exactly which buildings are included in the HH category.

Also, for those OKW veterans, which building do you prefer? We have stayed at OKW before (and love it), but thus far we have been put in buildings far away from HH.

Thaks in advance!

Personally, we like the Turtle Pond or South Pointe areas, and they are the farthest from HH.

The HH category includes Bldgs 11 to 14 and 23 to 26.

Chuck, we are staying at OKW in July for our first onsite stay. Could you elaborate on what it is you like the most about these areas? I have heard Turtle Pond mentioned a lot.

Turtle Pond is away from the hustle and bustle of the HH area, it has the nicest of the 3 quiet pool areas at OKW, and the pool area has a snack bar if you want to pick-up a quick sandwich or salad, even if they are all pre-packaged.

South point is nice, too, bldgs 45, 46 and 55 have some really nice canal views.

Thanks, Chuck. We have never been ones to request rooms and have been very fortunate with our other TS; oceanviews in Aruba, Hawaii and Hilton Head and pool side at Grande Vista. I can't decide whether to leave it to chance or not.

I appreciate your info very much!

Really the only bldgs I don't care for are 27 to 29, but they're OK if nothing else is available. They just have probably the worst views of anywhere at OKW, especially the lower floors. The views are heavily restricted by foliage and shrubbery, probably needed for protection from errant golf balls.

We have favorite buildings all over OKW, but so far none of them are in the Turtle Pond area. Our all time favorite buildings are 45 and 46 followed by 15, 13, 55, 14, 16, 20. Like Chuck, our least favorites have been 27-29.

Funny... you described our last OKW unit perfectly. Unit 29, first floor, spectacular views of tall bushes. Have to remember to ask not to be placed in 27-29 in the future.

Is the HH booking category a higher point requirement or is it just same points, but a confirmed/guaranteed location whereas before you could only request that area?

Do I get the award for longest most confusing runon question sentence in a post? :lmao:

Points are the same. It is just a guaranteed location rather than a request. My run-on brain understood you perfectly.

FWIW, we switched rooms on the last day of our trip to standard BWV, I checked in at 8a, and they would not tell me the room # until the room was ready!(It wasn't ready until 4p!). So I don't know which resorts let you choose the buildings, etc. Obviously, not BWV.
