Which building at Poly w/small children?

This is our family's first trip to WDW. My children are 7, 5 and 11 months. We are traveling in late August and staying at the Poly Garden View. Which buildings would you request given these circumstances:

1. Mk will be our primary park
2. The baby (and hopefully I ) will be napping mid-afternoon.
3. My older children will want to swim a lot

I can't decide if I should care more about the proximity to the pool, the GCH, the TTC? How do I decide what to request? And I know that a request is hardly the same as a guarantee!

Do you experienced DIS'ers have any advice for us?

The Samoa building..it is in between the main pool and a quiet pool,they call it the pool building. It is close to the main building..we loved it.

Tokelau was terrific! Close to the quiet pool, also close to TTC and the main building. Although our room was not "lagoon view", we could still see the castle and fireworks from our balcony.

I like Fiji and request 3rd floor- it's very close to the GCH/monorail and you get a nice view on either side of the building.

The right side faces the marina, Contemporary and Space Mt. The left side faces Luau Cove and the Grand Floridian.

Any building is good at the Poly, though, it's a small resort so no matter where you are there's never a really long walk.

Personally, we like Tokelau the best. It's about halfway between the TTC and the GCH, so easy Monorail access all around. The other nice thing is the rooms are bigger than in Samoa, and all the rooms have a balcony or patio.

Samoa is also nice and right by the pool, but we prefer Tokelau for the size of the rooms. Tokelau is also a bit quieter than Samoa.

You could also consider Niue which is between GCH and Samoa.

I know right!!! We loved it!!

With kids I would want a patio or Balcony. some 2nd floor rooms don't have a balcony. We had a 1st floor in Rapa Nui & loved the location.

Samoa is the best building with small kids! We stayed there twice and it was the perfect location. Right between both pools and a 1 minute walk to the great ceremonial house. the boat to MK is also very close. have a good trip.
