We already have Chef Mickey's planned but I need another breakfast. Which would you pick?

1900 Park Fare
Crystal Palace
Ohana
Breakfastosaurus

Ohana :thumbsup2

We just had breakfast there for our 1st time last month.
Fantastic!!
Carolyn was our server & she was great!

for me it would be any other then breakfastosaurus. last time we went there we had an awful experience. i like ohana for the atmosphere & view, 1900 park fare because i get to wander around the GF, crystal palace i would only do if i were in the park.

For me it would be Crystal Palace an hour before park opening to be at Adventureland for rope drop. We did this three years in a row and have loved it each and every time. I probably would still do it even if it wasn't for the characters. I just love the atomosphere and theming of Crystal Palace. It will always be a must do for us.

It's a tough choice between Donald's Breakfastosaurus and Ohana for me, but I think I'd have to go with Ohana...simply because there's no buffet line to have to get through.

Of the four choices, I would go to the Crystal Palace. However, we totally enjoy the breakfast at the Cape May Cafe.

CP is great but Cape May/Goofys Beach Bash is the best! The food is very good, a huge selection of fresh fruit and the characters in their bathing suits are adorable!

We enjoyed Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom and Donald's Breakfastasuras at the Animal Kingdom last month. Would do both again! Key is to get an early ADR so your in the parks before the public!
:cutie:

Ohana's for sure....nothing like bacon n' eggs with the morning shine of the Lagoon with the Castle peeking in the background.

If I make an 8am ADR for a 9am rope drop how will I get there. The buses don't start running until 8am (or so they say) We are staying at POFQ so even if they do run early we'll have to pick up everyone at POR also. Will I make it?

We just loved our Breakfast at Crystal Palace! The atmosphere is wonderful and the service was excellent! And getting into MK before it opens (on a NON EMH day!) makes for fantastic photo ops! Here is a quote from my review of what was on the menu when we were there:

KID’S STATION: Breakfast Pizza, pancakes & Pooh, Tigger & Piglet waffles

COLD STATION: Granola, dried fruits, cereal, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, strawberries & whipped cream, bagels, muffins, donuts, pastries, peanut butter, jellies & marmalades, whipped butter, cream cheese, smoked salmon

HOT STATION: Made-to-order omelettes, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, cheesy breakfast potatoes, hash browns, sausage, bacon, corned beef hash & cornbread casserole, vegetable frittata, breakfast lasagna (fruit & custard), puffed french toast, pancakes, grits, oatmeal, sausage gravy & biscuits :thumbsup2

The busses do start running before 8, not sure what time, but plenty of time to make it to CP for breakfast at 8. I've not stayed at POFQ, but I'm sure they start running at 7, and will have no problems getting you there in time. I think they want you to be at the gate at 7:45, and there's a separate line for ADR's on the far right. We also do this every trip. Great pictures of the castle with no people, rope drop for adventureland and Tigger, what more could one ask for. Oh yeah, the food is good too.

The other choice I would make is 1900 Park Faire, which has the best food of the breakfast buffets, IMO. And the character interaction is great.

If you want to eat early (before park opening), Donald's Breakfastosaurus is a good choice. We were able to get FP's for a later ride on Expedition Everest and then ride on the 1st train of the day for Expedition Everest.

When it comes to a big breakfast, we usually do one of the following:
  • Eat in a park before park opening
  • Eat late in the park after visiting some attractions, making sure we get a FP before going to breakfast (we like this option if we do an EMH morning)
  • Sleep late and eat outside of a park

Do they take your picture before breakfast, likr they do at Chef Mickeys? And if anyone else knows Do they take your picture at O'Hana's for breakfast as well? Thank you...... I love the idea of all the characters in their bathingsuits...... so cute!;)

I've eaten at all but 'Ohana. Of the other three, I'd vote for Donald's. The food was excellent & the character interaction was very organized. On the other hand, I've enjoyed all of them & wouldn't hesitate to go back to any of the three.
