which behind the scenes tour should we choose?

After looking at the different options for tours I can't decide which would be the best value and entertaining for us. Any suggestions would be so appreciated.

This is our (DH, DD 17, DD12) 5th trip to Disney. We are staying for 10 days and this trip is a combo celebration trip of oldest daughter's high school graduation, youngest's 13th birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary. Looking to do something special for all of us together.

Well, if you have the cash, I would totally spurge on one of the VIP tours. I mean - backdooring rides, having someone else getting your fp, making your adrs, telling you neat trivia about WDW, driving you around...I'd get that in a minute if I had the cash!!!

Barring that, marceline to Main Street sounds cool as does the family magic tour.

The only tour I have been on that a 12/13 year old is allowed on is the Magic Behind the Steamtrains (although that may be closed for renovations right now) and it was good but lots of sitting on hard benches for parts of it.

I've only down a handful of tours, by I absolutely LOVE Wild Africa Trek! Minimum age is 8. Behind the Seeds was also a lot of fun, it's cheap, short and interesting. The kids got to release ladybugs to help keep pests off the plants..

We really enjoyed the Behind the Seeds tour at Living wth the Land. Only lasted an hour but it was inexpensive and a lot of fun.

We also did the Keys to the Kingdom in MK but under 16 is not allowed and it costs a lot more money.

I'll say this, though. Disney puts really sharp and entertaining CMs in all of these tours. I think a tour of the parking lot would be interesting with these tour guides. So I think anything you choose will enhance your trip.

I have done the family magic tour when my daughter was younger it was pretty neat but if you embarrass easy look out we had to do character voices and even skip through part of the park.

We LOVED Wild Africa Trek. Great tour (land and in vehicle), fun rope bridge crossing, great lunch and an opportunity to help wildlife fund. It was well worth the cost!

This is a great heads up. I would be way to embarrassed
