which beach?

hello

we are coming back for some more magic on thursday and would like to visit a beach ,so which would you reccommend ?we have been to cocoa beach but i would like to visit the gulf we have a condo in kissimmee and would like someone less than 2 hours drive we are taking 1 18year old 2 16 year olds and a 12 year old ,all boys.

I have never been to but have heard (from people who lived there) that ClearWater beach is a nice beach....that would be about 1.5 hrs from Disney????

clearwater is soooo nice i was there couple months ago. I wanted to visit cocoa beach or daytona cause i was lookin for some place close to disney that i havnt been

After disney, I went to clear water beach, it was nice, sand is white, water is clear.

I was thinking the same thing as you. I've been to Daytona, Cocoa Beach, Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami - ALL on the Atlantic! It's time to try something on the gulf.

I saw a show on the Travel Channel a while back, called Top 10 Florida Beaches, which gave me some good ideas. I think if you go to the Travel Channel's website, you can find more information on the program and the beaches described.

I am still deciding between Clearwater, St. Pete, and Siesta Key, but I'm sure all are nice.

If you are going in the near future, I would recommend going to an Atlantic beach. The red tide is pretty bad right now and going to the beach is pretty miserable in much of the central gulf coast.

Clearwater beach is really nice, but Siesta Key is absolutely beautiful.
St Petes Beach was ok, a little to shelly. It hurt the feet to walk on.
All of them are better than the east coast beaches. Unless you want bigger waves. East coast has bigger surf, west coast has that Caribbean beach feel.
