Which attractions/shows choke you up at DLR?

There are so many! Walking down Main Street for the first time each trip, and seeing the light on in the fire station each night. Several times during WOC and F!. All through the fireworks.

I also tend to tear up at random moments that make me feel like I'm in a Disney commercial. So the first ride on Dumbo with my DD on Magic Morning, seeing her hold Minnie's hand as they walk into Toon Town as it opens, riding the tea cups... the list goes on. You just never know when the magic is going to strike!

That dang "Remember.. Dreams Come True" fireworks show gets me all the time. I'm not ashamed to say that I've shed a few manly tears over it. Especially the part when Walt is saying his dedication speech.

Flag retreat, WOC scene where "So Close" is playing, theme song to Believe in Holiday Magic ... pretty sure I'm forgetting something else here.

I'm probably the only person in the world that tears up when I hear the theme from the POTC movies. It started when we had a balcony room in the Poly (Hawaii building) and would watch the fireworks from MK there many nights. It was our first family trip to WDW and we were just in awe of everything. But for some reason, watching those fireworks from across the bay was truly magical.

Then one year later we were on the Dream and the same song was used in the Pirate Night fireworks. Again, we were just in awe of our new Disney adventure and the magic we had experienced that trip as well.

So now every time I hear that song, I think of those family moments.

I also tear up during the Baby Mine portion of the Magical fireworks show, especially when Dumbo flies. Dumbo has been our family's "character" since my DD was tiny, but that song in particular really gets to me.

Another one was towards the end of the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour when they talked about his death.

And the worst time of all was at the very end of the Walt Disney Family Museum tour when you go through an entire room fulled with copies of news articles, letters and pictures after Walt's death. But I was in good company because I don't think there was a dry eye in that room.

I'm also so lame that I'll start to tear up at the beginning of Disney movies where they show the castle. I have to hide it from DH so he doesn't tease me about it.

the castle in the beginning of Disney movies.

I do this, too. I reckon I'll be the laughing stock of my friends when the castle opens Episode VII and I lose it.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Oh, yay! I seriously thought I was the only one gets all emotional at that!!! :)

Oh my goodness, I was a wreck in that room.

Remember Dreams Come True- fireworks.

The castle kiss and the goodbye spiel telling us thank you for visiting the parks that day.

Snow during the holiday fireworks.

Riding IASW with my entire family. Mostly in part because they humor me by riding it and pretend they're enjoying it. It's my favorite.

Strolling down Main St and getting a glimpse of the caste for the first time.

Soarin' at the end when they pan in on Disneyland.

I'm not a crier. However, we had given up ever thinking we were going to have kids, and through the miracle of science, we now have our baby. Standing outside CA adventure not just with DH, but with my baby made me sob. People must have thought I was nuts! And that darn baby of mine song. And flying on Dumbo. My dd is laughing and clapping, and I'm crying, and DH was rolling his eyes at me!

I empathize with you here. I was in the same boat. Enjoy every moment! :)

It's a Small World ...... and Soarin'.

The first time we went to WDW and rode IASW, when we got to the room toward the end where all the children are dressed in white and singing, my DD turned to me and said "Mama, it's just like we're in HEAVEN" and all I could think of was a perfect world where all the children of the earth could stand and sing together. I tear up Every Time I think of it.

First time we did Soarin', DD had been terrified and ending up not riding and sobbing. At the end of our trip, she finally got the courage up to do the ride, and as we sped through the streets of LA and approached Disneyland, she cried "It's TINKERBELL!!!!!!" with such joy in her voice ........ can you tell I have a very soft spot for my DD and her experiences in Disney?

WOC and the fireworks show. It just brings me back to the simpler times of my childhood and all the memories I have with my family in Disneyland and the new memories I am making with my kids. If they still did the light show parade I would just break out in tears probably. lol I can still remember the music from it.

WOC always gets to me..Fantasmic too for some reason..can't explain why.

Disney has a verey special place for me because of my late mother. She brought me up on Disney and I am so thankful to have an amazing DH who is as crazy about Disney and our trips.

It's just the magic of it all just gets to me..seeing all the memories being made and wishing my mom was here with me to see it all too as an adult to appreciate it all..now i'm tearing up just talking about it..:(

Walking under the bridge and seeing the "Here you leave today..." plaque. Fireworks, WOC, Fantasmic.

Seeing other people experience the magic...

I don't choke up on rides so much...but I did tear up reading this thread!

We have very similar feelings about my Nana. My mom grew up going with her and we were lucky enough to do a trip with her in 2011. It brought back so many memories for her, especially of IASW, she decided to take us all back for Thanksgiving 2012. Unfortunately she passed away last August, but at the end told us it was her wish that we would still take the trip. It was bittersweet to do it without her, but I will never be able to ride IASW or watch the Fireworks without thinking of her and trip we did get to.

Seeing the huge floral mickey and the Main St train station in the background on the first day. Esp after the long walk to the park, long wait at bag check, waiting in the long ticket line and then - bam - that view right in front of you. Surreal and beautiful.

The sign in the exit of Indiana Jones Adventure that reads "Real Rewards Await Those That Choose Wisely"

Finding Nemo sub ride, during the parts where the dad is trying to find Nemo.

Any ride that makes my son's eyes light up and puts a huge smile on his face, which is about 90% of the vacation!!!
