For those who have been to the parks dozens of times and have riden the rides and seen the shows hundreds of times.

Do any of the attractions provide a different (doesn't have to be better) experience at night?

Personally, I always thought BTMR felt different at night. It seems a little more "thrilling", if that makes sense.

Well, basically anything that's outdoors or lets you see outside.

MK: Jungle Cruise, BTMRR, Aladdin, Dumbo, Astro Blaster, Speedway, Carousel. Maybe Splash but I wouldn't know because I've never been brave enough to ride it :scared1:

HS: TOT. Also walking around the Streets of America at night is really cool.

Epcot: not a ride, but just walking around in the different countries is a completely different vibe.

We love to ride Big Thunder Mountain railroad at night. It just seems like a much better ride at night.

All of the outside rides are different at night, but we feel the following are better when dark: Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder, Astro Orbiter, Haunted Mansion (not outside, but the theme seems enhanced), Expedition Everest, and Tower of Terror. We also prefer touring World Showcase after dark.

We love the PeopleMover at night. Getting to see Tomorrowland in all it's nighttime glory is really phenomenal, and getting to sit down for a while after a long day may be even better!

I also second the opinions that BTMR, Jungle Cruise, and ToT are wonderful at night, too.

The best time, in my opinion, to ride Splash Mountain is at night. There is something about zipping around, going down hills, and that final flash of the camera as you go down "the big one".

I prefer riding all the rides at night. WDW is beautiful at night when it's lit up.

Even though its indoors the Haunted Mansion is amazing at night. I think it adds to the whole setting. Especially if you go at night during a storm... amazing. Obviously the same applies to ToT...

Someone has mentioned these, but I want to reemphasize: The People Mover and the Jungle Cruise.

The People Mover is awesome because everything is all lit up and if you catch it at jut the right time, you can see some spectacular sights of the Castle, Fantasy Land, and even the night time parades. We usually ride this ride 2-3 times at night.

The Jungle Cruise is different because there are very few lights at all, and so your experience on the ride is driven by what you hear. Small children may not enjoy this ride at all in the dark.

Some of our favorite times at MK have been during the EMH, when we have been there @ 1:00-2:00 AM. You may miss next morning's rope drop, but the evening experience is worth it.

On my last trip, I went on Haunted Mansion at night for the first time. I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to go on it during the day again, it was just that awesome. :goodvibes

PeopleMover is also great at night. :)

Nothing that hasn't been mention already, but we really enjoy Splash, People Mover, and Astro Orbiter at night. Somehow, I don't think we've been on Thunder at night. Adding it to the bucket list.

We did TOT at night on our last trip for the first time. I couldn't believe how much different it was at night. We are going again in August and making plans to to HS at night just to do this again at night!! Loved it.

It's a sad thing that AK closes so early most days. I would love to hang out there for a good bit at night.

I think Splash Mountain is better at night because of the view of Cinderella Castle all lit up from the top of the mountain. I always try to pull the camera out and take a picture or two. :cloud9:

BTMRR is really great at night if you are lucky enough to ride it during Wishes. It adds a little something.
