Which attraction would you get rid of?

FEAR FACTOR LIVE!!!

Does anyone watch that show anymore?

The 2 times I saw it, some of the participants threw up and on one occasion, a girl on stage started crying badly after she ate something awful. The host just ignored her and went to someone else. I don't like this "attraction" whatsoever and I think Universal can do so much better. :confused3

I guess I must be in the minority because I like Twister. Sure, It's not the best but with a little TLC it could be so much better. They need to fix the flying cow. (I can see the strings.) Also make it a little longer, wetter, more interactive and more intense. Just my opinion. :cool2:

There's a couple of things i just never go on in the parks. They're attractions that have mostly replaced others and the previous attractions were better.

Twister - Ghostbusters
Fear Factor - Wild West Stunt Show

Everything else I always try and see

After many trips, I did finally see Fear Factor Live recently- it was a semi-amusing 20 minutes, but I feel no need to see it again.

My votes go to FFL and Sinbad. But I'm not really into shows.

I like Twister, but I have to be in the front row.

ET has great charm, and I'd hate to see it go. The versions in Hollywood and Japan have already been shuttered.

Yea Storm Force did not open with the park, and was built in 2000. I believe it and The Flying Unicorn were projects meant to open with the park, but decided to hold off on them to see if they would really need it. Turns out people complained that there wasn't enough stuff for kids, so they added those two attractions. Flying Unicorn is fine, very cute. Storm would be cool if it was inside, so you could always see the lights. The lights are always on, but they're only noticeable at night.

Yikes! That could mean that E.T. in Orlando is next! :sad2:
I wouldn't like to see it go, just updated. :flower3:

Jaws - time to sink the shark! This one is way past its prime. Its so old that it is not even funny by accident.

Twister - Just a refit of the older Backdraft attraction that come off much better, it was just soooooooooooo fake. And could Bill Paxton look any more bored in the intro videos?

Revenge of the Mummy - just kidding, checking to see if you're still reading.

IOA - not sure what I would remove, if anything. However, if you are not going to do ALL of Poseidon's Fury (i.e. the water tunnel), then don't do it at all.

Dr. Doom - A long wait for essentially nothing at all.

Dolby1000

I am pretty new to studios yet so call me the minority, but I absolutely love JAWS and ET. I thought they were so much fun and I was really suprised how cool I thought they were lol. They seem like classic theme park dark ride types... I really hope they stick around for a while.

If I were going to loose two it would be Twister... (It's hardly even windy in there) and .. the sinbad show.. (that was awful)

FEAR FACTOR LIVE!!!

:scared:Oh, please no ~ I loved that show the last time we were there. Of course it may have had something to do with the fact that DH was one of the participants (got 2nd place ). Still, it's the one "show" that my kids are actually interested in seeing on our upcoming trip.

My vote would be Twister.

Ok, so if it was really bad, the lines wouldn't be long and if it wasn't there, those people would be in line for other attractions, so enjoy the fact that it's there and "eats" people.

I don't think it's that bad

The lines are long because you've got all of the newbies who get suckered into seeing it and the room doesn't hold that many at a time.;)

The room itself, but there's 2 preshow areas as well, so overall it does take a lot of people for a good 15-20 minutes IIRC

I think that's why so many people don't like Twister. You have a big build up, and then not much. If you're expectations were low going in, it wouldn't be such a disappointment.

Because you do go through the two pre-show areas, you have more anticipation with each one, and you think the actual experience will literally blow you away. When it doesn't even come close, you are annoyed that you wasted all that time in line for that experience.

Why Why Why did they get rid of King Kong but leave Jaws!!! I too loved King Kong. Remember the banana smell????

King Kong was great. I always wished they made it longer and more thrilling though.

I really miss BTTF! It's one of my favorite movies of all time. :cool2:

I assume that they got rid of King Kong to put Mummy in. I can't see getting rid of Jaws even though they could update the story. It's kind of a tradition at Universal and always busy.

But then what do I know, I always go to Twister a few times. The only adult attraction I skip is Fear Factor.

Poor poor Twister everyone wants to get rid of it but in my oppinion get rid of ET cause you want to talk about out dated :upsidedow
