Which attraction would you get rid of?

I HATE poseidons fury....I asked for an escape from a CM half way through, but had to stay to the end. It was terrible. Please make room for a BETTER attraction with this area.

I don't know if theres anything on the Universal side really. I don't mind twister...it's kind of neat. I got to participate in the last disaster show, and that was kind of fun (although, I do wish it was still King Kong...I LOVED that ride). ET is getting older, but I like making up goofy names and hearing them at the end when they say goodbye - and it's a relaxing ride. I've never been to Barney....don't think I would.....I don't really like Jaws...that would be the one I would get rid of. It's down half the time, I always get nauseous from the fumes, the sharks are looking worn, and it's just not that great anymore.

It was actually Reveng of the Mummy that replaced King Kong. The shark also gets maintenance and the skin gets changed once in a while to keep it from looking worn.

Poor poor Twister everyone wants to get rid of it but in my oppinion get rid of ET cause you want to talk about out dated :upsidedow

See I think of ET as a classic that doesn't really date, as is Jaws (i'm talking movies here)- they just makes me nostalgic!!:lmao:

Twister was never a classic film, so that ride could be replaced, but I think a lot of people remember ET from their childhood and will possibly introduce their children to the film and start a new generation of fans - not so with Twister!!:rotfl:

I agree with a previous poster who said that Jaws the ride is a Universal Legend - please don't ever get rid of that!!

I like the film and the ride , but then again I have always liked Helen Hunt :)

I still say Lucille A Tribute though I do remember watching her shows here in the UK many years ago when I was a child.

I like Helen Hunt too Johnny - although possibly not for the same reasons as you i'm guessing!!:lmao: I thought she was great in As good as it gets with Jack Nicholson, and I did like Twister - I'm just not sure it will stand the test of time quite like ET and Jaws!!:thumbsup2

I agree that the Lucy Tribute should go - but then I don't know whether her American fans will agree - is she a bit of an institution for you guys over there??:confused3

Well, I am with the group that enjoys twister. Maybe because I am from Texas and as a child tornado's were REAL monsters that scared the bejibbies out of me. Honestly, twister feels pretty real. ( Except for the flying cow on strings-:rotfl2:)

King Kong was such a great ride. I really miss it. I think it just broke down too often.

I would vote to loose;
1.) Poseidon's fury- Talk about a let down. Nice building raises your expectations.... for what? To sit in the dark and watch water spin!
2.) Storm Force
3.) Fear Factor
4.) Lucy

That's right...Mummy did replace King Kong....Disaster was Earthquake before, right? Same difference.

I must always see Jaws when its getting close for refurbishment....or it's closed for refurbishment while we are there....

Get rid of Twister and Disaster. I can't believe they revamped Disaster and got rid of Kong. Kong was a great ride--now I have to visit him in the parking lot.:sad1:

I really don't know why Barney is still there either.:confused3 I never could tolerate him when he was popular but now he is extinct and should be replaced with something more current like Backyardigans.
