Which attraction in each park...

do you think most represents the Disney experience? On our next trip we will have to make some choices due to time restrictions. I want the members of our group who are 1st timers to for sure get to do the things that are the most Disney. Which attraction at each park do you think falls into that category?




P.S. Not necessarily the attraction you can't live without, but which one is the most Disney.

Are you going to each park? If so here is my opinion:

MK: Make sure to hit the mountains!
Also I would say go into Fantasy Land and ride Peter Pan, Snow White, and all the older rides, after all they are Disney Icons.
I would also say PofC

Epcot: Test Track and Soarin

AK: Expedition

DHS: Toy Story

Those are my must dos, of course I have others that I love doing, but I am sure others will tell you their favs also, so you will have a nice selection!

MK: Mickey's Philharmagic & Pirates of the Caribbean
AK: Festival of the Lion King & Kilimanjaro Safari
DHS: Toy Story Mania & Tower of Terror

If we are talking what truly represents a Disney ride (as imagineers say it's all about story)
MK: Haunted Mansion, POTC, any Fantasyland ride, the 3 Mountains
Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Soarin
DHS: ToT, Great Movie Ride, TSM
AK: Safari, EE, Festival Lion King

Here are the ones that make me feel most Disney-ish:

MK: it's a small world
EP: Spaceship Earth
HS: One Man's Dream
AK: nothing yet

I think it will take a while for something at Animal Kingdom to stick out for me. I seem to go for the more classic attractions as making me feel more of the Disney magic. I could see FotLK, ITtBaB, or the Nemo Musical eventually doing it for me there. Some others that I get that feeling on would be Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Splash, Peter Pan, CoP, The Land, and for some reason the movie in Norway, even though we skip it more times than not.
