Question from Mrs. JonFozz and daughter.

Last time we went 4 years ago Orlando Premium Outlets (?) seems to be the best. Any suggestions?

Mall of Millenia is still my all time fave mall.
Second to that the Premium Outlets on International Drive.
We rarely visit the Premium Outlets on Vineland now even though they are the closest to us. That's personal preference due to our fave stores only being at the former.
Florida Mall is loved by many but not by us lol.
Winter Garden Village is another firm favourite of ours.

I usually do one per trip, plus Festival Bay which is poor but DH loves the outdoor pursuits store. Last time it was Lake Buena Vista Factory stores which is good. I actually prefer the Premium Outlets (not Belz) but it seems harder to get to and more akward to park at. Similar shops at both. Also Wallmart is worth a trip round too.

1. Prime outlets at the top of I Drive is good, nothing like the old Belz

2. Premium outlets is nearer disney.

Both have similar shops. I do like to do both though.

3. Florida mall - well worth a trip for normal not outlet stores

4. Millenia mall. More upscale shops eg tiffany but it is a nice mall to look around and has a cheesecake factory.

We have just returned from Florida and I would say Prime has far greater choice than Premium.

We planned a half day shop and went to Premium to buy Levis, a North Face gilet and clothes for the children at Gap. We managed some great bargains at Levis (5 pairs of jeans for £100!) but there was no North Face outlet at Premium and the Gap store didn't sell Gap Kids clothes.

My fault entirely I should have looked at the directory before leaving the UK... anyway a few days later we ventured to Prime which was about 30 min drive from OKW unlike Premium which was about 15mins. Got a North Face gilet not as quilted as I would have liked but good for wearing around the house and under a coat for £29. Gap Kids didn't have what I was looking for but there was a great Disney Store next door selling old season items for less than the parks.

So in summary I would suggest to anyone - if you know the shops you wish to buy from then head to the appropriate outlet/mall and save yourself some valuable holiday time especially if you have children who would rather be in the parks or swimming pool!!!!!

If your not a designer label slave then the Florida Mall gives the best general shopping choice, especially if you include the large department stores.

The food court is useful too.

Thanks folks. Shopping now planned DD & DW now completing a list of must haves!. I just can't wait to get the tickets now!

Is it nearly Christmas ??:woohoo:

I also love the Mall of Millenia

This year, boyfriend and I both seemed to buy the most at the Florida Mall.

I think the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores are really good and much more relaxed than Prime/Premium/FLorida Mall. Saying that there is nothing like the same selection of shops but you still have Old Navy, Gap, Aeropostale, Nike, Fossil, Hilfiger amongst others. I like going there in the evening, there is something nice about shopping outdoors at night..especially when you cannot do it much here in Scotland.

Where is Mall at Millenia?:confused3

I agree - love shopping at night amazing that the shops stay open until 11 at some of the outlets:thumbsup2

Also worth checking whether there are any USA holidays whilst you are there. We were there when it was labour day (I think it was that one?) and a lot of the shops were doing an additional 20% off the ticket prices for that weekend - I got some great bargains:thumbsup2

Florida Mall is my favourite mall, and I really enjoy both the outlets for discounted shopping. Walmart is great too. I enjoyed Mall at Millenia, and it is a really lovely shopping centre, but the shops are more expensive and upscale, so we didn't buy much. :)

Mall of Millenia is a bit pricey but still my absolute favourite. Even if you don't buy anything there its worth a look just for the experience. It feels like a Mall for the Stars, its very posh!!

My cousin can't get back to Mall of Millenia quicly enough either. I have no interest in browsing though, I always feel that my shopping day is a wasted day - I know that I want the stuff be I hate getting it!!

Loved the Florida Mall - bought most of the stock in Justice (I have 2 girls aged 8 and 9!!!!) and the M&M world is something to behold - we spent about 30min in there, the kids loved it.
Didn't like Lake Buena Vista - except the Reebok shop - 3 pairs for price of 2 on already cheap trainers!!!

I love the Buena Vista outlet, just for Old Navy and Gap. Also a store called VF outlet that had loads of jeans and shorts (usually buy when I get there - better choice than in UK!!!).
For upscale browsing it's got to be Mall at Millennia, especially for the Cheesecake Factory!!
For everyday shopping you can't beat Florida Mall. The department stores are great, specially the bargain rails in Sears if you have the time!!!!

If you're heading Miami way though, don't miss Sawgrass Mills, and Aventura Mall

We too love the Malls, its the only time I buy clothes for myself. We have been to Prime and Premium, we loved Belz when it was there, and have shopped at Florida Mall. We have never been to Mall of Millenia so can someone tell me where it is please?:confused3

My husband point blank refuses to shop with me here but I cannot get him away from the malls out in the USA lol lol. Men, you are complex fellows. ;)

Mall of Millenia is on Conroy Road a couple of junction's up on the I4 from Universal.
