Which All Stars Resort Do You Like?

We usually stay at the YC, but now that I'm a single mommy, the All Stars is what I can afford and with the Fairytale package, I have figured we can get 8 days for the two of us with airfare (Song airlines) for about 1300.00. We have stayed at the Movies and the Music for a couple nights in the past, but I was thinking Sports this time. I heard that was recently renovated? Any opinions are greatly appreciated!!

I stayed at Sports about 6 months ago, in the tennis section, and nothing appeared to be renovated. However, I preferred that resort to ASMusic (the only other AllStar I've stayed at) just because of the way it's laid out. It isn't so much long and "bowling-alley-like". All the buildings seem closer to the main building.

I also need to know which resort is better. We have stayed at the movies, and i liked it just because it had the little area across from the check in desk were kids could watch a movie. Does the other 2 all stars have this little area. What other reasons do you guys have for liking one all star over the other. I booked the fairytale package for july 29 at the sports. I'm wondering if I should go with my gut feeling and move to the movies befoe it is to late. I picked the sports because I thought it would be a new experience, and because I heard you were the first to be picked up and dropped on the busses. Does anyone know if this bus thing is true.

What did you think about the Music when you stayed there. Do you prefer the music or the movies?

We have only stayed at the Touchdown building (10) in All Star Sports, and it was a great location. Near the quiet pool (with Goofy on the pitching mound!), laundry. Short walk to food court, pool bar, and bus stop.

Well, my son is four, so he loved the Movies, it was just crowded and the pool area smelled weird some reason. We stayed at the Music a couple of years ago, and it was for a night, so I don't remember much about it. I think I'm going to try for Movies, if it's full, I think we'll do sports this time.

We just love All Star Sports! In fact our experience there was better than our experience at Port Orleans last year. We are planning another trip there (in 9 days!! ) and can't wait. One thing that is a contributing factor for us is the limited amount of time we are actually in the room. We are usually gone first thing in the morning and other than changing clothes, etc are gone until that night. For our needs it is perfect. You get the Disney magic without the huge price tag. Home Run Hotel is our pick for favorite building though, not really close to anything other than the quiet pool but it was a quiet building and we enjoyed our stay. Hope this is helpful!

I've stayed at Movies and Music, and I prefer Music. I think if you have children with you, they would probably prefer the movies resort, but I really liked the atmosphere of Music.
