Which All-Star do you prefer? And split moderate?

We ended up by fluke at ASMu years ago and have ended up returning ever since. I am pretty sure the food court menus are all the same... yes? Anyhow, has anyone stayed at the different All-Stars and is there one you prefer and why?

We are booked for October and have booked ASMu again because we are familiar with it (and it is a ToT host resort) and know what to expect (good ole Jazz Inn ground floor). Just wondering if we should consider switching it up a bit?

Also, we sometimes do split stays and am considering CBR. Or POR (not POFQ though the masks scare the crap outta me!). Thoughts?

Out of the 3 All Stars my fave is A.S Movies. LOOOOOVE the theme.

POR is my fave mod. So gorgeous. Love the pool, lush landscaping, food court, bike rentals, and the boat to DTD.

We just got back last night from staying at ALLstarSports, and loved it!

1. We were the first to get dropped off/picked up w/the buses.
2. Our room was newly refurbished, clean, maid service was terrific!
3. Food court was great!
4. Pools were great. The main one was supposed to be closed for refurbishment, but was open the whole 10 days we were there.

That's a good point about the buses for Sports. And I think Movies is the one with the really big main pool, right?

We stayed at ASMu for my first trip in september and loved it. Booked it again for our upcoming trip in May but last night we changed our flight and needed to add two nights but ASMu was full! We will be at Pop those two nights and I'm super pumped! I've heard that all the all stars are fairly similar. Music is always cheaper though :)

I've stayed at each All-Star 2x. Movies is def. our favorite. That mostly has to do with theming, though. They're really basically all pretty similar. I do give the slight edge to the Movies food court. I like the overall layout a little better than the other 2. They seemed to improve on the design with each new resort. (Not enough that I would go there specifically for the food court.)

POR is lovely! If you are thinking of trying a mod, it would be a great one to try. Compared to the values, the place is HUGE though. I would consider a preferred room or a Royal Room if you decide to go the POR route.

Our favorite All star resort has always been All Star Music, I love it more then staying at movies or Pop... We are trying out All Star sport for the first time this trip. As my daughter and I just now decide to take my granddaughter for her 4th birthday. Since this was an unplaned trip we decide to go cheap.. I'm sure we will enjoy this resort, I'm just not a sports fan but I"m sure my grandson who just turned 14 will love it. We love staying at Fort Wilderness cabins!

All Star Movies for theme, Music for food and it seems more calm to me and Sports for layout. The Sports did not have movies by the pool though in January.

We have had the pleasure of staying at all the value resorts, and we have come to find that All Star Sports is our favorite. With a DS who is 11, the sports theme is really appealing to us. Plus, it is the first spot to be picked up and dropped off from the parks so that is a huge plus. I will stay that All Star Music is definitely a close second fo us though.

I am pretty sure the food court selections are pretty similar. They my vary slightly from resort to resort though. Check out the menus here or on allears.net

As far as choosing between CBR or POR, I go with POR. I am not a fan of how the resort is laid out at CBR. POR on the other hand has rooms that were all recently refurbished.

Sports is our favorite! It is small and easy to get around. The theme is awesome. As mentioned before, sports is dropped off and picked up first when the all-stars share.
