Which AKL rooms are over the main lobby?

Just saw a picture of some rooms that look like they are over the main lobby area. I think it would be neat to open the door and see that first thing.Does anybody know what types of rooms these are,which view,etc..

Hi there...

The rooms overlooking the lobby are neat... and they come in several styles..

Redular and Deluxe Savana views
Regular and deluxe pool views
Concierge Savanna & Poolview rooms

Here is a link to the hotel map... you can see the room numbers and how they are positioned to the savannas, pool and the ones that overlook the entrance to the hotel..

you can get an idea why the concierge savanna rooms are not so great becuase they overlook the thatched roof of part of the lobby.

Is it true that the only standard view rooms are located on the Giraffe and Ostrich trails? It certainly looks that way. Would it be better to request one of those or would requesting one only make my chances of getting an upgrade to a Savannah view less likely?
