Which 2 Days to go??

DH and I will be heading to Orlando the very first week in March (28 - 9) We have tickets to Universal/IOA for 2 days with the park to park option. Generally it looks like things should be fairly quiet that whole week for both WDW and Universal, I am just wondering if during that week are there any specific days we should avoid US/IOA?? Did I ready somewhere that they do something for Mardi Gras? Will anything like that be going on while we are there??

If you want to experience Mardi Gras at Universal, make sure you go on a Saturday...the big parade and concerts are staged on Saturday nights and both are included in your park admission. The concerts can be very crowded depending on who's performing and the parade is a lot of fun. Mardi Gras will be going on when you're there...but not during the week.

is it true that the crowds are not too bad at the end of february beginning of march? we are debating going at the end of january of beginning of march what would be better?

The crowds are generally light during that time of year.
