We are back from our ski trip!! Don't get me wrong, I like to ski, but I am super glad we are home again!!!
We had a fun four days of skiing between four days of driving(stopping half way)!! Takes us just as long to drive to Disney and Disney is much easier on the body!! We had horrible driving conditions driving there the second day!! Witnessed a truck lose control and roll over behind us and then came across at least 5 or 6 more cars upside down in the medians at different points!!
My youngest ds had altitude sickness the first ski day, so he and I stayed in the room!! It happened to be the only day we had blizzard conditions skiing!! Lucky me!
All four ds's are skiing now, so I have to stay in shape (or rather get back into shape!) or they will all be skiing off without with me!! Ds #3 (age 7) somehow got on a 6 man chairlift ALONE!!! He was skiing with dh and 2 brothers and he rides alone!!!
I found out after the fact!! That is just something a mother does NOT need to witness!! He is too small to put the safey bar down, so he hung on to the seat back with dh yelling at him all the way up the mountain to hang on!! Made dh a little green too!!
Also, this same son crashed the last day skiing and looked up just at the moment his oldest brother showered him with snow. Then ds#2 tried to copy ds#1 and shower the fallen brother and he ended up running over his legs at a high rate of speed!!!
Dh thought for sure he had a broken leg. His angels were working over time this trip!! Thank goodness I did not witness this either, I had already gone back to the room with ds#4 (age 5)
Soooo, as you can see I am ever so happy to be home!! I'll take Cancun or Disney anyday!
