First, let me get this out of the way....
WE'RE "BALANCE PAID IN FULL" PEOPLE BABY!!!!!!
Okay, so here's where the Whew! comes in.... On Thursday, July 19th we decided to check and see if we could get rooms at an AS resort because we'd been hearing alot about the noise and disruption at the AKL and that some people on the DIS had been getting calls that they were being moved to other resorts. Well, we really wanted to stay at the AKL to see the animals (which we also heard were in short supply) so we figured if we were going to be bumped from our hotel of choice we may as well try to get a cheaper room and save us some money.
Great idea or so we thought. I contacted our wonderful Travel Agent, Beth with Dreams Unlimited Travel on Friday, July 20th and she told us that we would lose out on the free dining if we switched reservations now 
Wasn't happening. So we kept our original ressies and are keeping our fingers crossed for an upgrade to the Grand Floridian if we get bumped.

Well, to make a short story even longer... our final balance was due to be paid on July 21st. On Sunday, July 22nd, I'm sitting on my new patio furniture from Target (another DIS board story) when I realized that WE HADN'T PAID THE BALANCE
How could I do that! I felt like such a newbi, an amateur, a NOVICE!!! I can only contact Beth through e-mail and I had her e-mail address at work, I tried to call the office and they weren't open!! I began to panic and when I panic I do embarrassing things!!! Really embarrassing! I call the Disney reservation line and told the nice lady who answered what happened and she assured me that the reservations probably hadn't canceled, that I could just go on line and pay it and everything should be fine. I think I even heard her snickering at my anxiety! Well, we went straight on to the website and paid those puppies off (I have three separate reservations) in rapid successions and now it's official!
