We are finally rested from our Spring Break Trip (March 14-19, 2010)
We stayed at the beautiful Caribe Royale Resort (review here:

March 14th we arrived at the Caribe Royale and just hung out and swam at the resort. Needed the rest after driving from Texas with everyone else from the state of Texas!! LOL Seems all Texas schools released for Spring break the same time this year as it has never been this crowded and we saw so many familiar faces!

March 15th arrived at MK to get our GAD vouchers and enter the park. That was easy enough to do. Park was crowded at 9:30 AM when we got in. We got fastpasses for Space Mountain then quickly hit other attractions in Tomorrowland. Then back to Space Mountain. After that we went to Toon Town where lines were already 90 minute or more waits to meet characters or get on the rides. So we took the train to Frontierland to ride Pirates, Thunder Mountain, Tiki Birds then our Dole Whip. By then we had a perfect spot to watch the 3pm Parade and see a hometown school march in the parade! Exciting.
After that just long lines for everything. Very crowded. We stayed until Wishes was over then headed back to Caribe.

March 16th we enjoyed Hollywood Studios and lunch with the Little Einsteins and Hollywood Vine and Dine. This park was crowded too. Waiting in line for an hour for Toy Story then it broke down I guess. They didnt even offer us fast passes to get back in line and when we returned it was nearly a 2 hour wait. So we just bypassed it despite our 6 year olds tantrums.

March 17th we went to Epcot. All seemed to be good there. Not as crowded but we did wait 2 hours (no fast passes left) for Soarin'. LOL didnt bother us to do so.

March 18th we skipped AK and went to Disney Quest instead. Never been there. Not my cup of tea. Kids liked it though.

We are now planning our Christmas trip. Can't wait to go back and do what we didnt get to this past week.

Oh, that stinks about TSM - it's perfect for a 6 year old. But, hey, you can hit it next time! :goodvibes
