Ok, let me start by saying that I love my children Dearly, but I feel by 6:30 I can't wait until bedtime. Anyone else feel this way, or am I the only horrible mother out there?
Tara

I feel the same way most days! Kids sure do keep us hopping, don't they? :)

I used to feel that way but my boy is almost 29 years old now, and for some strange reason I long for those long ago days :)

6:30 sounds just about right but today being friday, I was ready by 4:00. They all just fell asleep and now(8:30) I have the annoying sound of the monitor humming. I don't think I remember what absolute silence sounds like.

I totally relate to how you're feeling. I adore my children too, but some days I just can't wait for DH to get home (he's great with the kids and instead of them double teaming me we can have one on one defense ;) )

We were suppose to go last month but all 3 got so sick we had to cancel. This will be our first time leaving them but I know grandma will spoil them even though they run her ragged!

I admit that there were some nights when I would change all the clocks in the house to read an hour later than it really was in order to get the kids to go to bed. Hang in there! It does get easier.

I keep reminding myself on days like this that one day I'll be like my neighbor nativetxn and miss the noise, but still.... I enjoy the post-bedtime quiet.

Tonight DD is hosting her first sleep-over with her best friend. I'm surprised at how well it's gone! Two five-year-olds... I was glad when they finally fell asleep!

I remember those days, and I felt the same way too. My two children had an 8:00 bedtime and thankfully we never had problems getting them to go to bed. Once they were in bed it was so nice to have 2-3 hours of "peace and quiet" to just relax with DH.

alone in this.......I know my niece could hardly wait for nighttime to arrive.....she did have one that did not care for bedtime....the night owl.......I remember when she thought one of them was coming down with the bug.....her comment was.....oh no ....all three will get it.....or when she was called to school this year for one of the boys......she said......if someone has broken his arm....let it be ...............cause he has reached his deductable.....she writes these little letters each year to remind her and everyone else......first what a blessing it is to have the three of them and then.......to laugh at the year that has passed....each year will get better.......did you find a support group for mothers of multiples......it was a joy for her to attend and to be with others who felt the same way as she did.......hugs Tara

Believe me you're not alone. I think I'll be cursing the day DD learns how to tell time ;) . She goes to bed at 8pm right after the puzzle show (Wheel of Fortune) but occasionally when I've had my fill I lie about the show not being on and push her bedtime back to 7:30.

Having only one meant no real craziness in my home, add one cousin and I'd be agreeing with you!
