Called today for a ressie for Ohana's for the 4th of July... got lucky, there was one ressie for dinner left at 9:20pm... just in time to make sure we get a table, get some drinks and sit back and hopefully see the fireworks, celebrating DNiece's 6th B-Day and Fiance's parents 35th anniversary! I just love Mercercio at WDW Guest Relations, this is the 3rd time he's been able to get me just what I wanted. I think he must have a magic wand. Anyone else celebrating the 4th in Ohana's?

We're going to be at Whispering Canyon, but we'll head over to the Poly to see the fireworks!

Make sure you get there EARLY!! You'll need to beat everyone else asking for a window seat.

I'm planning on getting there super early... what time does everyone think? I can't recall how long it took us to eat the last time... do you think if we got there around 8:00-8:30 that's too early to try to stay until Wishes, if for some reason they can get us a table then? (We figured we could always check in early and then go look around the resort, shop, etc).

We'll be dining at Ohanas on July 2!!! We tried Ohanas for the first time on our trip in October - don't know how we missed this one!! Its now our "first night at Disney" tradition!!

I would also suggest getting there early - just in case there is a little earlier of an opening. When we were there in Oct, we finished up a little early; so our waiter suggested we walk down to the beach for the fireworks show! It was great!!!
