'Where's your prince' and will this tale end 'happily ever after'? Sept 11 - Complete

What a great day at MK! You guys got so much accomplished...I'm impressed! I laughed when you said Zaheer wouldn't go on SM again....:lmao: I love to stop and sing and dance along with the trolley people...Jasmine ... not so much:rotfl2: BTMRR is a hit with everyone in our family and it was no different on this trip! Glad to see that you were entertained by my boyfriend Jack;)

What a great day!!! You guys looked like you had so much fun in the MK!! :cool1: Your interactions with the fairies was too cute!! :goodvibes Too bad Zaheer didn't like Splash! Hopefully you enjoyed the rest of your day! Oh and how weird about the Tiki Room! :confused3

First off....you should definitely go on a trip next May. The first part of May, because that's when I'll be there! :rotfl: (But, really, the first few weeks of May are really low crowds and not terribly hot.)

Dream Along with Mickey is such a great show! I love that you get to see a lot of the characters without having to wait in meet and greet lines.

You guys got so many rides done! I laughed at the Splash Mtn photo; what're the odds that Zaheer's face would be hidden by your hand???
Glad you guys enjoyed BTMRR, that's one of my favorites.

Now that you've begun riding all the MK attractions, I can't wait to hear which one you pick as your favorite!:thumbsup2

I love your trip report! It is such fun to see DW through the eyes of people who have never been there before! It seems like you had a great trip and I can't wait to read the rest. :cool1:

What a great day so far!

There's nothing like the first visit to the Magic Kingdom. There's something so magical about it. *sigh*

I loved how our trip was going so far - we were just soaking it all in! :thumbsup2

It sure was a great first MK visit and I agree in that there is something magical about it. I really hope you get to see Farrell's first MK visit later on in the year :goodvibes

Wow--that's some major updating today!

Great pictures! You got so much done despite the late start on rides. I'm another one who's never seen the dream along with Mickey show--this year we really planned to make a point of seeing it, but it just didn't happen.

So did you make Zaheer go on Splash Mountain again since you saw It's Tough to be a Bug twice for him?

Thanks! I tend to write an installment and than realise because of picture limits it ends up being 4 posts!

I know - I was worried when I realised at 11am we had still not done any rides  However because of the low crowds it didn't end up being a problem and we got through quite a lot. I hope you get to watch DAWM on a future trip.

That never even occured to me! :confused3 I should've definitely used that but no he didn't got on Splash Mountain again. However, I did get him on to a few other rides that were not on the top of his list

What a great update! I loved all the photos. :goodvibes Splash is my fav ride in MK....too bad Zaheer didn't like it!

Thanks Abby! I can see why Splash would be your favourite ride and yes too bad Zaheer didn't like it!

WOW! You are an update Queen!:worship: First I want to tell you how nice all your pictures are and I love the angles you have been taking them at!

Thanks Carey! I'm loving all the photography comments as am really not that good when it comes to taking photos :cool1: However, I impressed myself later on with some of the photos I took.

I want your chocolate crosant! We've caught the rope drop show in the past but never the Trolley parade!

I enjoyed the chocolate croissants at Disney World! The Trolley Parade was fun - I think everyone should see it once as it puts you in a really good mood and makes you just want to sing and dance.

I still have not been on splash moutain:sad2: Ugh, I should have as it would have cooled me down a lot!

Oh no I hope you get to go on Splash Mountain on a future trip as it was amazing! It sure does help in cooling down as well

Did I see a mention of a possible new trip???:yay:

Yes you did! :yay: Though it is in early stages at the minute and I'm not even sure if it will end up happening - if I have anything to do about it I'll make sure it happens! I need to find a job and have a few other life issues to sort out first.

Never made it to CCH, but love the view and now I know where to sit when we do go!

That spitting camel got me when I didn't expect it!

CHH is an amazing CS place and the view from upstairs is pretty neat as well :thumbsup2

Haha that spitting camel sure is naughty ;)

DAWM is awesome, Kadence had Daddy video the whole thing backin Jan and she watches it all the time!

We loved that show and wish we had made a video of the whole thing as well - I watched the videos we did get yesterday and they made me smile :)

What else am I forgetting?? Oh characters, Woody and Jessie are so cute Kadence loved them and Sam even got in that photo in Jan.

Jealous you saw Fawn. Wish we would have gotten her instead of Vidia in Jan.

I hope you got to see mnore as the trip goes on!

We enjoyed meeting Woody and Jessie - they sure are fun!

We saw Rosetta and she was great! I still haven't seen Fawn or Vidia though.

We sure got to see much more which will be coming up later :goodvibes

What a great day at MK you guys had!

We didn't get a chance to see the DAWM show... kinda bummed now, because it looks like it was great fun! Oh, well... there's always next time, right? ;)

Thanks Shannon - it's great being able to see how much we got done on a daily basis through this report :thumbsup2

The DAWM show sure was a lot of fun and you are right there's always next time ;) Plus your girls would probably enjoy watching it as well.

I'm here, I have to get caught up, but I wanted to sub before I forgot or something! Just got back from our trip last night, so I'm totally exhausted, trying to get caught up on laundry AND the Dis, and mentally prepare myself for going back to work tomorrow...ughhh!!!

Yay, welcome back! I can't wait to read your TR when you start! :cool1:

Lol thanks for subbing and I hope you manage to get all caught up and have an easy day at work tomorrow...ughhh at having to go back so soon!

Thanks Jacquie! We were also pretty impressed by the things we managed to accomplish. Haha yes that was funny! :rotfl: I couldn't believe he actually went on it the first time round - I was so preparing myself for going solo.

I'm glad I am not alone in enjoying the trolley parade and wanting to sing and dance along...am sure I saw people that agreed with Jasmine and were rolling their eyes at the fun I was having! :lmao: Oh well each to their own...

Haha your boyfriend....since when hun? He is definitely all mine!! :rotfl2:

What a great day!!! You guys looked like you had so much fun in the MK!! :cool1: Your interactions with the fairies was too cute!! :goodvibes Too bad Zaheer didn't like Splash! Hopefully you enjoyed the rest of your day! Oh and how weird about the Tiki Room! :confused3

Thanks Emma!! We sure had lots of fun - think we did that throughout the trip which made the experience soo good! :thumbsup2 I loved the fairies...Zaheer was rolling his eyes especially because of the wait. I think meeting the characters was one thing he got a bit tired of later on in the trip :sad2: Something which I couldn't understand!

Yep that sure was too bad! However at least I got him to try Splash Mountain once. I thought that was very wierd about the Tiki Room as well! It probably doesn't happen that often :lmao:

First off....you should definitely go on a trip next May. The first part of May, because that's when I'll be there! :rotfl: (But, really, the first few weeks of May are really low crowds and not terribly hot.)

Lol in that case I am definitely hitting that 'book now' button! :rotfl: I forgot you were going to be there the same time. That's the reason I am leaning towards the first part of May. I enjoyed the low crowds in September and don't want to be going during a busy period. I will share as soon as I have made a final decision.

Dream Along with Mickey is such a great show! I love that you get to see a lot of the characters without having to wait in meet and greet lines.

Yay I'm glad you agree with me on that one! :thumbsup2 We loved seeing all the characters and never got to see some of them again during our trip.

You guys got so many rides done! I laughed at the Splash Mtn photo; what're the odds that Zaheer's face would be hidden by your hand???
Glad you guys enjoyed BTMRR, that's one of my favorites.

We sure did! We laughed at that photo as well - well I did. Zaheer didn't find it funny as it was the only time he was going to ride Splash Mountain and I covered his face in the evidence that he was on this ride with me! :lmao:

We both enjoyed BTMRR and can see why it is a favourite.

Now that you've begun riding all the MK attractions, I can't wait to hear which one you pick as your favorite!:thumbsup2

I will be sharing all our favourites later on in the TR!

I love your trip report! It is such fun to see DW through the eyes of people who have never been there before! It seems like you had a great trip and I can't wait to read the rest. :cool1:

:welcome: and thank you for joining! We enjoyed seeing DW for the first time - it was everything we expected and much more! Hoping to share more soon :)

Hi Tanz! Signing on!!

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip so far! Soooo many FABULOUS pictures!! I love them all!!!

Can't wait for more!

Whoa! Major update. You really are getting through this TR quickly... well, at least I'll be kept busy :teeth:

Awwww... I'm sorry to hear you missed Rope Drop. It's definitely a hidden gem and really starts your Magic Kingdom day... well, magically! Hopefully you got to go see it later in the trip, it's something not to miss (:

Oh, I love that trolley show! That was really my first show in Disney and I'm so glad I didn't just scoot by. When you see it, you really just want to start dancing and it really boosts you up. "I'm walking right down the middle of Main Street US-AAAA-a-aaaaa..."

Love your castle pictures! A very important part of a Disney trip, especially the first ::yes::

Dream Along with Mickey, another great show! I've only seen a part of it, but I love the music having listened to it a few times on YouTube hehe I love how you call Maleficent, Queen Maleficent :goodvibes That just proves how totally awesome she is. (: Love the pictures and great videos, if only the videos my mom got of the show had audio...

YAY! Splash Mountain! Love, love, love, love LOOOVVEEE SPLASH! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, but I can't believe Zaheer didn't like it. :sad2: People just don't get, you will NOT fly out of your seat on the drop... or was there another reason? Well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I respect that. :) At least he liked BTMRR, I say he has redeemed himself.

Love the pictures of you two with Jessie and Woody then near the Indian Chief statue. You guys are really taking a lot of photos on your first trip, WOW! That's skill right there.

Sorry to hear you weren't a fan of CBJ. I've always enjoyed that show, but I'm a sucker for nostalgic Disney, so it's just not for everyone, at least you went to see it anyways, I gotta give you props for that :goodvibes

Mmmmmm... Columbia Harbour House... it sounds like the food there is so good. If only you had gotten something seafood related :sad2: lol Oh well... Glad to hear you may be going in May! I was about to go then, since that's when my birthday is, but I'm going to DL now and in April. Still very excited :hyper: Hope you get to go! The F&GF is GORGEOUS

YAY! HM! I'm so jealous you got to see the new queue. It was all boarded up when I was last there... urgghhh... and able to see the new Hitchhiking Ghost Scenes... though I'll probably cry for the original scene... But glad to hear you liked it (:

Gotta love IASW! You guys seemed to really like it. That's a one-time thing for me. I'm pretty sure that song would drive me insane if I did it more than once. LOL @ Zaheer's comment about people being shorter than you, what a nice husband. Great pictures, btw!

That's awesome you got to meet Tink and her friends. I love the things every face character calls a person. Sugar Plum is new to me, usually it's Princess for girls. You seem to be having some nice M&Gs. It's always nice to really interact with the characters, they make for very memorable experiences.

Love that spitting camel! I think that's the best part about that whole ride, trying to go low enough and around in time to get squirted :goodvibes hehehe

YAY! The Tiki Room! I LOOOOOOVVVEEE that show! And I'm sorry, but I need to correct you it's "In the Tiki, Tiki..." I don't want to write out the Tikis, but had to correct, force of habit. :/ I'm sorry though the speakers blew out and you didn't get to see the whole show. Maybe later in the trip :teeth:

Jungle Cruise, really need to ride that! That's the ride I want to work on when I do the DCP (just because (?)). I just need to get hear the narration a few times. Maybe riding the one in DL will help :thumbsup2

Oooo... POTC! Another awesome ride! You really are hitting some good ones on this day. It doesn't even seem like it's the afternoon yet.

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Hey Tanz, Was nice meeting you on the bus. Just getting back on Dis, well I peaked in a couple of times. Need to read your report this week. And get started on mine. Can't wait to hear how your trip went.

Wow - mega update! I have no idea where to start with comments, but I did notice that you looked a little "in shock" in your first few pictures. Just like you said - it all hadn't sunk in yet.

But in the later pictures you are smiles all over the place. They are all great pics and you got SO much done.

What's up with Zaheer not liking Splash Mountain? I love that ride. So funny that you are covering his face in the picture.

I love the Anchors Aweigh sandwich - YUM!

Great update. Loved it!

Hi Tanz! Signing on!!

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip so far! Soooo many FABULOUS pictures!! I love them all!!!

Can't wait for more!

Hi Melissa! :welcome: and thank you for joining!

It was a great first trip and thanks for the compliment on the photos! I loved your drummers one on your joint TR! :thumbsup2

Hoping to update soon and enjoy your upcoming trip! Have just caught up on your PTR.

Whoa! Major update. You really are getting through this TR quickly... well, at least I'll be kept busy :teeth:

Haha I know it seems like a lot of updates but I am still only halfway through day 2 so have a lot to come. I'm glad it'll keep you busy! :teeth:

Awwww... I'm sorry to hear you missed Rope Drop. It's definitely a hidden gem and really starts your Magic Kingdom day... well, magically! Hopefully you got to go see it later in the trip, it's something not to miss

I knew we were going to miss rope drop after the long wait for the bus the night before. However, we didn't miss it on this trip.

Oh, I love that trolley show! That was really my first show in Disney and I'm so glad I didn't just scoot by. When you see it, you really just want to start dancing and it really boosts you up. "I'm walking right down the middle of Main Street US-AAAA-a-aaaaa..."

Yay I'm glad I am not alone in loving the Trolley Parade show! :lovestruc It sure made our day stopping there and watching it.

Love your castle pictures! A very important part of a Disney trip, especially the first

Yes, castle pictures sure are very important on a first trip though I don't think I could ever get bored of seeing photos of the beautiful castle - it is so magical

Lol we loved Queen Maleficent and I think she deserves the title - although she is meant to be evil I love her! We enjoyed the DAWM show - it's a shame you can't get audio on the videos your mum got however once you get your new camcorder you can go back and make some videos yourself :cool1:

YAY! Splash Mountain! Love, love, love, love LOOOVVEEE SPLASH! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, but I can't believe Zaheer didn't like it. People just don't get, you will NOT fly out of your seat on the drop... or was there another reason? Well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I respect that. :) At least he liked BTMRR, I say he has redeemed himself.

I LOVE Splash Mountain as well - it sure is a great attraction! Zaheer is not a fan of thrill rides so yes it was the drop that bothered him - he didn't like the one on Kali River Rapids either but decided that one was just about okay  I also agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinion :)

Love the pictures of you two with Jessie and Woody then near the Indian Chief statue. You guys are really taking a lot of photos on your first trip, WOW! That's skill right there.

Thanks - we wanted to capture as much of our trip as possible as I knew that although I would return my first trip would always be special.

Sorry to hear you weren't a fan of CBJ. I've always enjoyed that show, but I'm a sucker for nostalgic Disney, so it's just not for everyone, at least you went to see it anyways, I gotta give you props for that :goodvibes

I'm glad we gave CBJ a chance as well but it just wasn't high on our list of things to do again - like you said everyone has their own opinion!

Mmm CHH sure is a great CS place and tuna is fish so counts as seafood in my opinion! We did consider the salmon or lobster roll but I didn't want to miss out on the sandwich. I'll make sure to order something more seafood related on a future trip.

I really hope I get to go in May as well as as would love to see the F&GF - it looks soo pretty. I can't wait to hear about your DL trip and you should be excited! :hyper: I also have a special birthday coming up next year - wish it was my 16th but sadly those days are behind me :lmao:

YAY! HM! I'm so jealous you got to see the new queue. It was all boarded up when I was last there... urgghhh... and able to see the new Hitchhiking Ghost Scenes... though I'll probably cry for the original scene... But glad to hear you liked it

Haha I really liked the new queue of HM but think that is because I never had the chance to see the old version. Ugghh at it being boarded up on your trip - hope you get to see it on a future trip and you don't miss the original scene too much.

Gotta love IASW! You guys seemed to really like it. That's a one-time thing for me. I'm pretty sure that song would drive me insane if I did it more than once. LOL @ Zaheer's comment about people being shorter than you, what a nice husband. Great pictures, btw!

IASW was great!!! After hearing all about the annoying song on here I was a bit worried but luckily that didn't bother us. Yes, Zaheer sure knows how to make me feel great! :rotfl:

That's awesome you got to meet Tink and her friends. I love the things every face character calls a person. Sugar Plum is new to me, usually it's Princess for girls. You seem to be having some nice M&Gs. It's always nice to really interact with the characters, they make for ery memorable experiences.

I wasn't expecting Sugar Plum either but hey it could've been worse! I'm glad you agree that the character greets sure are memorable. If I had been on my own I probably would've stopped for more but it's the one thing that got to Zaheer later on in the trip :sad2:

Love that spitting camel! I think that's the best part about that whole ride, trying to go low enough and around in time to get squirted :goodvibes hehehe

Hehe it sure was fun and I can imagine can be a surprise to those that aren't aware of it being there :rotfl2:

Maybe later in the trip

Oops DUH of course that is the line - it just shows how long we actually stayed in that attraction  Thanks for correcting me Timmy especially as I can tell from your signature how much you LOVE Tiki Room. Unfortunately we never made it back here but if I return in May I'll make sure to see the show from beginning to end.

Jungle Cruise, really need to ride that! That's the ride I want to work on when I do the DCP (just because (?)). I just need to get hear the narration a few times. Maybe riding the one in DL will help :thumbsup2

I totally get why you would want to work on JC when doing the DCP - I hope you get your choice. I would've loved to have done the DCP during College but never knew it existed.

Oooo... POTC! Another awesome ride! You really are hitting some good ones on this day. It doesn't even seem like it's the afternoon yet.

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

POTC was another good attraction to fit in and it still was around 2pm (I think!)

Hope to post more soon :)

Hey Tanz, Was nice meeting you on the bus. Just getting back on Dis, well I peaked in a couple of times. Need to read your report this week. And get started on mine. Can't wait to hear how your trip went.

Yay Sandy you're here!!!! :goodvibes It was so nice to meet you on the bus on your first day! I'm glad you are getting back on these boards and can't wait to read all about your trip.

P.S. Love the new ticker and congrats on nearly being married for 25 years! :lovestruc

Wow - mega update! I have no idea where to start with comments, but I did notice that you looked a little "in shock" in your first few pictures. Just like you said - it all hadn't sunk in yet.

Lol Mary Ellen I seem to end up mega updating even though I don't mean to! You are certainly right in that I do look a little 'shocked'. I was just in awe everything and taking a little time to digest my surroundings!

But in the later pictures you are smiles all over the place. They are all great pics and you got SO much done.

Thanks - I love looking at all the pictures and because of the low crowds we sure managed to get a lot done.

What's up with Zaheer not liking Splash Mountain? I love that ride. So funny that you are covering his face in the picture.

He just doesn't like drops. I somehow don't think he will be joining me on ToT later  I loved Splash Mountain and yes that was funny how his face got covered - he's the one that did it though!

I love the Anchors Aweigh sandwich - YUM!

Great update. Loved it!

I totally understand why you love that sandwich - it was very yummy!

Thanks - I hope to update more soon :)

Welcome back Tanz!

I've just caught up with your trip report - love your picture from Dinosaur! That's funnier than all of mine put together, and I am a seasoned master of the Dinosaur Duck and Cover!

It was great meeting you, can't wait to read more.

Welcome back Tanz!

I've just caught up with your trip report - love your picture from Dinosaur! That's funnier than all of mine put together, and I am a seasoned master of the Dinosaur Duck and Cover!

It was great meeting you, can't wait to read more.

Yay you're back Elizabeth! Can't wait to hear all about your trip :goodvibes

We sure got some funny ride photos - first of me on Dinosaur and then of Zaheer on Splash Mountain! :lmao: I'm glad there are other people that do the Dinosaur Duck and Cover as well!

It was great meeting you as well though don't want to rush to that part of the TR as it was our last day :sad2:

Hey Tanz! Slowly getting back to normal and have the missing-Disney-blues :sad1: Going back to catch up!

Hey Tanz! Slowly getting back to normal and have the missing-Disney-blues :sad1: Going back to catch up!

Hi Tracy! Welcome back and thanks for joining. I totally get having the Post Disney Blues :sad2: It only hit me a little bit when I first got back as I was still excited about sharing all the memories I had made with friends/family. It is now definitely sunk in that our trip is over and the bad UK weather isn't helping me feel better.

I am really enjoying your tr! Glad I am finally able to find some time to read!
It sounds like you are having so much fun.
And you have lots of great photos!

You really did meet a lot of characters at AK!
And some that are not seen very often.

My kids don't like ITTBAB, well they didn't like it years ago, and have not wanted to try again since.

The fairies sound like a fun meet!
Hope you get to meet some of the other characters you were looking for later.
And try a dole whip!

I'm glad you were able to get a photo of the two of you together in front of the castle!

California Grill looks really nice, especially your dessert and seeing wishes.

I am enjoying your TR so much!! I have been lurking on the boards and not commenting as much lately, I decided I needed to change that quickly!!

You two are adorable together and I love all the pictures you have been sharing...your meal at CG looked amazing I am seriously regretting not fitting that one in when I was making our ADR choices...darn!!!

I love all of the characters you have met, there are a lot that I have never even seen at WDW that you met in the first couple days of your trip :goodvibes

I am really enjoying your tr! Glad I am finally able to find some time to read!
It sounds like you are having so much fun.
And you have lots of great photos!

Yay, welcome Kathleen. I'm so glad you managed to find some time to catch up :goodvibes
We had so much fun and hope to be able to do it again soon ;)
The photos are going to be great memories.

You really did meet a lot of characters at AK!
And some that are not seen very often.

We lucked out on our AK day and were so pleased that we bumped into so many characters.

My kids don't like ITTBAB, well they didn't like it years ago, and have not wanted to try again since.

I don't blame them! I'm glad I am not alone in being freaked out by that show! :rotfl:

The fairies sound like a fun meet!
Hope you get to meet some of the other characters you were looking for later.
And try a dole whip!

They were fun to meet!
We didn't get to meet them characters but there are some more coming up in the next update.
Well whether we tried a dole whip or not will be revealed later :lmao:

I'm glad you were able to get a photo of the two of you together in front of the castle!

I'm glad of that too - luckily there were plenty of PP photographers at this point and they were all more than happy to take some shots of us.

California Grill looks really nice, especially your dessert and seeing wishes.

It was - every time I think of that dessert it makes my mouth water! :lmao: Seeing Wishes on our first full day was a great way to end our evening :goodvibes

I am enjoying your TR so much!! I have been lurking on the boards and not commenting as much lately, I decided I needed to change that quickly!!

:welcome: Shannon! Thanks for joining and enjoying the TR! :goodvibes Lol it's funny you should say that about lurking as I have been doing the same thing on your PTR :rotfl: I did start commenting and then fell behind :sad2:

:woohoo: on leaving in 4 days!! I will be better at keeping up on the TR - I promise!

You two are adorable together and I love all the pictures you have been sharing...your meal at CG looked amazing I am seriously regretting not fitting that one in when I was making our ADR choices...darn!!!

Aaw thank you :flower3: Lol I think I have been sharing too many pictures but it is so hard to choose which ones to share out of the ones we have taken. CG was AMAZING! Much more than we ever expected. Oh well you'll just have to fit it in on a future trip ;)

I love all of the characters you have met, there are a lot that I have never even seen at WDW that you met in the first couple days of your trip :goodvibes

I'm happy we met the characters as well and am glad we met them early on in the trip as Zaheer didn't remain as excited about meeting them

So we had just got out of a not so good Tiki room experience and ridden JC and POTC as well as some other MK attractions.

It was at this point I persuaded Zaheer that we had to meet Aladdin and Jasmine. He had been so good about meeting the characters so far but I think this was the point where he was no longer willing to wait in lines to meet characters :sad2:

Anyway I got in line and he decided he would take the picture. I said hello to Aladdin who was so sweet. He noticed my pin and asked 'where is your prince?' He wasn't the only one to ask this hence the reason it is part of the title. I pointed out Zaheer and he told me afterwards that someone had offered to take a photo if he wanted to get in it. However his reply was 'It's okay, thanks but I've had my fair share of character meets for today!' I couldn't believe it

Jasmine asked us about where we met so I told her and we had a really pleasant conversation about the best places to meet a prince - hers was obviously at a Marketplace! She also informed me how their wedding was amazing. Both of them spoke with me for quite some time and I loved meeting them. I think they are a really sweet Disney couple. I actually noted that I had my hand on Aladdin's bum in the final picture! My height meant I couldn't reach his back :lmao:

We got a yummy icecream on the way out and I think this cooled Zaheer down - I blame his earlier reaction on feeling the heat as at this point he was happy to meet Mickey and Minnie at the Town Square Theatre. The reason that I think he was okay with this meet was because he knew we would be heading back to Pop after this and DUH it's Mickey and Minnie - who doesn't want to meet them!

Mickey and Minnie were soo sweet - hands down my favourite couple Minnie was too cute and kept blowing kisses. She also blew a kiss at Mickey after we had taken our photo :lovestruc We headed out of MK (would be back again) and got to the Pop bus stop. Zaheer joked how the bus stop for Pop Century was the furthest away - his reasoning for this was that it was a value resort! We waited two minutes for a bus. There was a really loud woman on the bus that made sure everyone heard her and was going on about death and other depressing things  She obviously wasn't feeling the Disney magic!

We returned to Pop, refilled our mug and rested in our room - I took notes in my trip journal, sent a text to my mum and got ready for our meal at Poly.

We got to Poly, checked in at Kona and our server was Maurice who was okay. I ordered the Teriyaki Style New York Strip whereas Zaheer decided on the Coconut Almond Chicken. We both agreed that mine was the better choice.

For dessert I got the Kilauea Torte and Zaheer chose the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. We were both too full to enjoy these thoroughly though they were nice.

We enjoyed walking around Poly and relaxing in the hammocks after our meal. We spent quite a bit of time here and watched a bit of Hercules that was playing on the giant screen.

We were planning on taking a bus to Epcot and then to Pop afterwards. However the buses to Epcot had stopped running - guess we spent longer than we had imagined on the Poly beach. Instead we got the bus to DTD and transferred to a Pop bus. We were tired so went straight to sleep.

Highs:

Seeing the precious castle for the first time.
Watching the trolley parade and DAWM show.
Riding all the attractions for the first time.
Meeting all the characters.
Visiting Poly!

Lows:

The Tiki room breaking down on us!
Zaheer no longer being excited about meeting characters.

Coming Next: Oh Epcot how I love thee...
