Hope to keep this short. But went back to really read and not just skim your TR. You put to much time for a skim job. As for your nails. I did mention them to DD that I loved your nails but was surprise cause you had them done. I’m with you French nails look good but not on me, I liked the ones you did, more Disney like.

Aaw thank you for going back and reading my TR I'm glad you liked my nails and yes it was a DIY job - I spent long enough on them! I only went with French nails because of the salon lady recommending them. I wish I'd chosen something else - oh well I'll know for next time!

Love your badge. I love all the strange looks I get from people. Both at WDW and while traveling with my Disney things. (Ok maybe even at home.)

Oh no! On alarm,. That is always my biggest fear. I set three or four alarms a night all with different ringers. I have a habit of turning them off and not waking up. Or setting them for pm. Yah on getting your room request. One guy was giving cm a hassle when we checked in cause he didn’t He even threw up that he booked 6 month out and he should be able to get the room he wanted. I felt so bad for the cm I almost gave him our room. (OK not really how can a person expect a Hotel of that size to give everyone what they want.)

I'm soo glad Zaheer woke up as otherwise it would have been a completely different start to our trip! I think I need to use your idea and set four alarms with different ringers.

I'm glad we got our room request. Wow at the guy getting so worked up but it's not the CMs fault. I'm sure if he had asked nicely the CM may have looked to see what else was available.

Woo hoo for refillable mug. Best investment. Your cupcake looks yummy.
I love the fact that Zaheer took pics with the character. I know my Dh won’t. Will probably have a fit when I do. Oh well got to love him anyways. Love all you got done in AK. Your meal at California Grill looks amazing. The way you have talked about it makes me excited to hear about your favorite meals.

Yes that refillable mug sure was worth the bucks!

Well he did to start with but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. Thanks - we were pretty pleased with the amount we got done on that day. CG was great! I'm so happy it was our first TS meal.

Like the way you soaked up Main Street. So many rush to get in they miss the magic of it all. Glad you liked IASW, can’t have a trip without it. OOPPs Maybe I spoke to soon about Zaheer and the Meets. Now that would have been a meet that my DH would have done. He has something about Jasmine. (Might just be her outfit.)
Glad you loved Kona as much as DD and me. Don’t want to say anymore about it will have our update in tr.

Although I wanted to get to the rides I also wanted to take everything in and not miss all the magic. I agree in IASW needs to be included in every trip. Yes you sure did but at least he lasted for this long. Haha at DH agreeing to this meet. I guess each person has their favourite

Thanks - I can see why they would be a favourite! They sure took their time talking with me. I know, I was a bit disappointed but knew there would be something he would end up getting tired of Yes, he enjoyed meeting Mickey and Minnie

Our AK day was a lot of fun and we both loved meeting all the characters (at that point). I totally get why you guys love Stitch so more. He sure was cute and his antics were hilarious!

We had a late start today as we were a bit tired and wanted to enjoy this evenings EMHs at Epcot! We got ready and ate at Pop. We noticed the difference in coming here a bit later on as it was very busy

We got our breakfast of cheese omelette with breakfast potatoes and managed to secure a table. I went to get some milk for my coffee as I do not like creamer. I also picked up a chocolate croissant at the bakery - I had a few of these and they were very yummy!

The cheese omelette was nice but a bit too sickly for us and the breakfast potatoes were meh - we didn't rush to try them again.

After our breakfast we got to the bus stop and it was busy - just shows the advantage of getting up early. We didn't mind waiting though and got on the second bus. Once we got to Epcot we took pictures with the iconic ball. Zaheer also wanted to get shots of the flowers and fountain.

We went through bag check and any guesses to where we were heading?

There was only one ride I was interested in getting to first and that was Soarin. What a ride! We LOVED it!!! Every time the scene changed I was like 'wow''. We had asked for front row so luckily had no feet in front of us. I ducked when the golf ball came at me but loved seeing Tink, the MK castle and the fireworks. I am so glad we came here first. I think because of all the excitement we actually forgot to take any photos whilst waiting in line

We both decided we wanted to return here so got FPs for later. After this we went on Living with the Land which was okay. Zaheer enjoyed this more than me and I took some time to write in my journal. Z took some pictures.

We left the land and went to see Nemo and friends.

We got into a clam and had fun on the ride - the pics weren't turning out from here so we gave up after a couple of shots.

However we did take an obligatory photo with Bruce and then went to see Turtle Talk with Crush. This was so much fun. I am still in awe of how Crush can point someone out from the audience and have a full on conversation with them.

I saw Chip n Dale on the walk back and got excited so Zaheer agreed to wait in line with me. Whilst waiting we saw Jammitors and they were pretty cool.

I loved meeting Chip n Dale and they actually started dancing to Jammitors!

After this we went to the Character Spot. I wanted to meet Donald as I had my Donald and Daisy tee on today. I also wanted to meet Daisy but never saw her at the entrance. Zaheer wasn't too keen about waiting in line but as it was indoors he waited with me. He enjoyed seeing the clips that were played on the screens. We met Mickey first.

Then it was Pluto's turn. Zaheer and I were both a bit surprised that Minnie wasn't straight after Mickey. It makes sense to keep the couple together.

Minnie was sweet as always.

Donald was next. He noticed my shirt and his M&G was a hoot! He spent so much time with us.

He saw my pin and asked where my ring was. I don't wear it for reasons that will become clear later on however I just said Zaheer never gave me one to see what his reaction would be to the answer. He gave Zaheer a right scowl and shook his head. I was laughing out loud the whole time!

As we were leaving Donald Duck even the PP photographer asked where I had got my shirt from as he knew someone who would really like it. I said it was from the UK. The queue was worth it for the interaction with Donald Duck.

We also got to meet with Goofy as well.

What a great Character Spot!

After this we decided to try Test Track. We were planning on getting FPs but the line said 20 minutes so we decided since we were already there we may as well just get in the queue. It definitely took longer than 20 minutes! There was something wrong with our doors when we got to the waiting area however they eventually opened and we managed to get into a car. The drama had followed us to Epcot!

TT was okay but not what I was expecting. It was over too quickly for my liking.

The picture has writing on it but you can still see us on the front row. We decided not to get PP for this trip.

Zaheer decided he wanted to get FPs for Mission Space (remember he does not like thrill rides however he likes anything to do with space!) whilst I waited for him at the water spot where kids can have some fun getting their feet wet! I relaxed and people watched for a short time.

Once Zaheer returned we went to get some food from Sunshine Seasons. We got the beets salad, sprite (Z's choice) and the yummy strawberry shortcake!! The beets salad was nice but had a bit too much dressing for my liking. Zaheer enjoyed finishing it but wow that strawberry shortcake was soo delish!!! We shared it but I was so ready for another one straight after. Zaheer mentioned that we would be back though and to wait until next time.

We decided to return to Pop so we could rest before our evening meal in France. On the way out we noticed that Spaceship Earth was a walk on so we got in line. Zaheer had wanted to do this first thing but I knew it would be busy with everyone stopping here first so was glad we waited until our way out. We loved hearing about the past and then seeing our future.

Zaheer took a video of our future in full!



I played a game of memory recall once we had left the ride and got really into it. I got a great score which was being sent to the Doctor - woohoo!!

We took a couple of photos on the way out.

We walked back to the bus stop and saw a bus for Pop as we were walking - we weren't too far from the stop so I started walking fast whereas Zaheer ran ahead to make sure we caught it. We both got on and there were seats available!!

We returned to Pop and collected the fridge from the front desk - I had joined a fridge swap but had to wait a couple of days as I had given our original dates and as some of you know we had to make some changes because of flight prices. I rested in our room and Zaheer went for a swim.

I started to get ready for our meal. Zaheer returned a little later and started to get ready as well. I was starting to get worried about making our ADR for 7.30pm.

Coming next: Do we make it to our reservation and get to see Illuminations on our first night at Epcot?

Great day at Epcot! We love Soarin too...I love the smells on the ride, I think it's my favorite part! I have always wanted to try the beet salad but have yet too, however, did try the strawberry shortcake and I was disappointed in it...I think I read too many reviews on it!

I'm glad you liked Soarin'! I've been on it once but freaked out the entire time because I couldn't stop looking down at the CONCRETE floor WAYYYYYY below us!!!!!!! Needless to say I didn't get to fully enjoy the ride. Next time I'll get over it (and ask to be on the bottom! ) so I do not hold my mom and step dad back from it!!

Donald is my FAVORITE!!! He is always so funny! Sadly I hugged him a little too tightly at one M&G and could feel the person inside. It ruined the magic a little My fault though. Now I'm not so touchy feely with them

Thanks Shannon! If it was solely up to Zaheer we would have skipped it as well but it is a really fun spot and the video clips keep the little ones entertained. Hope you get to stop here next time.

Soarin is AMAZING!!! We went on that ride on every opportunity we could get. I was just like wow on every scene and they did not lose their appeal on the second and third time either!!

Yes they have a beets salad at Sunshine Seasons and it is very yummy if you don't mind lots of dressing on it.

I am glad you were able to get pics with Chip and Dale. It helps remind me where they are in Epcot! (Dh loves them. We always get shots with the ones in tomorrowland, and they are in costume.)

I love the strawberry short cake, I wish I had one now!

Soaring in our favorite ride there, followed bt TT then Nemo. Turtle Talkw/ Crush is amazing as how he does chat with guests.


We've not done the character spot yet, mainly because we usually meet all of them before hand or in different parks. Maybe next time!
