Hi everyone! Welcome to my first ever trip report. For those of you who have followed me over from my PTR (can be found here Our September 2011 Pre-trip Adventure!) thanks for coming over and for any new members thank you for joining. I hope I can keep you all entertained whilst sharing our adventures. There were a lot of oohs and aahs when experiencing things for the first time. I also had a couple of solo adventures which I enjoyed thoroughly but don't want to give too much away.
So who went on this trip. First there was me Tenzeela (better known as Tanz) who is the Disney fanatic and the one who was responsible for the planning of this trip. Those of you who followed the PTR know all too well how long we had to wait for this trip to arrive! I also enjoy my football and am a big Manchester United fan!
Favourite Park: Epcot!
Favourite character: Minnie Mouse
Favourite Princess: Belle
Favourite ride: Tower of Terror
Favourite meal: Akershus (for reasons that will become apparent in this TR!)
The other person on this trip was Zaheer - we have been together for 5 years and as mentioned in the PTR he would never have gone to Disney World if it was up to him however he enjoyed it much more than he thought he would.
Favourite Park: Epcot!
Favourite Character: The Beast followed closely by Stitch
Favourite ride: TSMM
Favourite meal: California Grill
The night before
After catching up on the boards I still had some last minute things to sort through. I kept reminding Zaheer to pack the cameras as didn't want to leave them behind! Zaheer reminded me to ring Pop Century resort and check what plug outlets were used. I was under the impression it would be three switch outlets but found out from mousekeeping that it was two switch outlets. Great! I knew my mum had plug converters and she was coming round later so rang her and asked her to bring them with her. Mum, dad and A (my little sister) came round and we had some tea/coffee. A gave me her list of souveniers she wanted me to get for her - seriously this girl thinks I'm loaded!
She also reminded me to meet Phineas and Ferb for her. Tracy (Mickey_Mom) had the idea of putting her face on a stick and taking it with me. Although I loved the idea A didn't want to do that.
Once my family left I looked at my French nail polish I had done two days before and wasn't happy with the results.
I decided to give my nails a makeover that were more me and went with the colours of Disney as well as with my love of Manchester United!
Around 12am I tried to get some sleep - was all packed and ready to go! I had even added my DIS badge to my hand luggage - it sure got some funny looks at the airport!
I had set my alarm for 4.40am as wanted to straighten my hair before leaving. Will I get up on time after having 4 hours sleep?

Luckily I was only 10 minutes behind - checked phone and had only set the alarm for 4.40pm the next day - DUH! It's a good job Zaheer woke up as otherwise it may have been a completely different start to our trip!
thank goodness Zaheer woke up on his own!
